Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Very smart pools and bars with a lovely beach and very good cabanas with waiter service. Food was a mix of western and Asian both of which were excellent and priced sensibly. It was fairly quiet when we visited as it’s rainy season and some of the facilities were closed or quiet but still worth the visit.

Novotel hotels have certain standards & quality. However, this one at Lombok, I think it looks a bit exhausted. Sprucing up the place a bit will help the place look fresher. Service is good but just a little slow. Perhaps it is low season. Hotel has access to beach & others activities which can be arranged with the concierge. Rooms are okay. Surroundings are nice & quiet.

We visited the Novotel & was very impressed with the grounds ( Inca type theme with stunning statues) accommodation & layout. The bar & beach were particularly attractive. We had a couple of fresh smoothies, a bottle of water not branded & a fresh coconut & was shocked & surprised that we were charged for the water which was more expensive than the coconut! Additional there was an extra 20% service/tax on top. Although a lovely location we would recommend not to order the water😜

Disappointing experience with - cleanliness issues in the villa when we arrived - villa was not seaview, and during the booking process my questions on that point was left unanswered - the overall resort felt a bit rundown/dated - the beach was not as nice as expected with this very unusual/almost unnatural sand - the water of the small pool has very high levels of chlore likely (our kids’ face was burning) - almost none of the animations listed on the website were available due to low occupancy (no buffet dinners, no monkey feeding, limited kids club support etc) - rather expensive food But some plus points - location near Kuta yet in a quiet area is very convenient - 2bdrm villa with pool is very well set up - staff is overall quite nice and appreciate the manager intervention so our room gets a deep clean asap after our complaints - very nice breakfast spread - view from spice market, the restaurant, is very nice

The staff of Novotel Lombok Resort was just amazing! Me and my son went on a surfing trip to Gerupuk where I was scammed with my MasterCard and the 'hotel' deducted twice my amount. The Novotel Staff helped me to return the money!! They made a lot of phone calls on behalf of me and eventually my money was brought -cash!- by a taxi driver. The setting on the beach, the villa with the marvellous shared swimming pool the cocktails in the bar, the restaurant, everything was lovely!
