This is my third stay at this hotel in 15 years and where our wedding party was held. On this particular visit, we stayed for around two weeks and due to our circumstances on this occasion, we opted for the hotel to collect us from the airport for 900THB. This was simple to organise via email with the additional payment made upon arrival (this was my choice as I could have done this at a later stage). It was a pleasant stay with no significant issues. The hotel has changed little in the past 10 years since our previous stay and it is starting to show. The room was spaceous, clean, some of the electrics from the control panel did not work which was not really an issue. There was a small kettle with some sachets from which hot beverages could be made, a small fridge, TV (almost no English language channels) and other usual hotel room items for use by the guest. The bathroom was also of a good size with a separate shower cubicle with access directly from the bathroom to the wardrobe - just remember to close the wordrobe to the bedroom if you like your privacy! Breakfast does not appear to have changed much since our previous visit with a lot on offer from continental to asian tastes catered for. As it is a buffet style service, some of the hot foods do range in temperature from one day to the next from hot down to warm. On one afternoon we dicided to have afternoon tea which was dissapointing. This is really the only major negative about our stay. Black tea was served from a tea pot - unfortunatley I cannot drink bacl tea without milk. A small range of mostly cakes were included, some were pleasant, some not so good as they seemed to be a bit stale and a couple werevery nice. As usual, all the staff from the customer service desk, doorman, waitress and even the housekeeping were smiling and friendly and as helpful as ever. In spite of the decor being a bit past it best by date, I would still return to this hotel as I know I can rely on the great team that does their best to keep the hotel running smoothly and guests happy.

Tired, dirty, disappointing

There's faded elegance and there's just faded. The Pullman is the most un South East Asian hotel we've ever stayed in - expensive, not overly welcoming and just dated. What must have been a grand building in its time is now aging badly. The carpets in reception are badly stained, the entry/exit to the pool is shabby and dirty and the pool had a used plaster and a cigarette butt floating in it. The mattress was lumpy and the pillows a joke. Jaded, neglected, pricey and very disappointing. Not the usual, reliable Accor standard at all.

A well located hotel with very good service

The location is good and the room is spacious with adequate facilities though it is old and need refurbishment. The staff are friendly and helpful, the front desk staff ( 2 ladies serving on 4/1 afternoon) patiently provided us detailed information and suggested some good spots for us to visit. Besides, the staff at the Chinese Restaurant - Loong Yuen also served us courteously, attentively and warm hospitality, thank you Doungtawan Jorand & Buason Chamnongsil. Their excellent service had highlighted our days in Khon Kaen. If I visit Khon Kaen next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and it has some amazing points that must be acknowledged and some areas for development. I have always stayed in the same room, 1201 over a 10 year period with a covid break. The staff are incredible and try their best with some language difficulties. This is more my fault for not speaking Thai. The food is as excellent as ever. Today I had the Thai Green Curry. The best I have had. The French Onion Soup was good with a twist of bacon. The rooms are starting to look old. The TV only has two mediocre channels to watch in English. The bathroom looks like it is from 1980 with bottles stuck in the shower and do not function. The biggest issue for me this time is that they forgot to pick me up from the airport. When I arrived at the hotel via taxi I had to wait 2 hours for the room to be ready.i had made two bookings as I needed to add a night and this night which I thought was paid online as the other nights suddenly came off my credit card with no explanation. I have 5 more nights here and hope that things get better! Iain Riley

Poor quality

Very poor reception service. We were kept waiting over an hour past the check-in time because the rooms weren’t ready. We were promised free breakfasts because we paid for an extra bed in one of our rooms, but reception denied us this. The air-con was very poor and not adjustable ( no control panel in the room and 35 degrees outside!!!!). BBC stated on tv menu, but not accessible. Very dated
