Unfortunately, although there are many plus points in describing our stay, there were a few disappointments also. We were told that you have no luggage trolleys so it was difficult for us to bring everything to our room. My husband is 80 years old and there was no help available. The standard of cleanliness is excellent but parking is not ideal, fortunately Melanie the receptionist helped us to get onto the carpark. In the morning there was a problem to leave, a broken exit machine. I know this is not directly your responsibility but I think you need to have a better arrangement for parking and payment for this. Although you display the rooftop restaurant, the operating times do not correspond to our experience. We were rushed and told that we couldn’t order after 9pm. I have to say also that the food served was not a good enough standard and service was slow. All staff members were extremely pleasant and polite.

We required 2 room accommodation for one night in Arras as part of our short WW1 Battlefield tour of Northern France and Belgium. We also required somewhere that was 'dog friendly' and had off street parking. We liked the location, a short walk to the main square with a good choice of bars and restaurants. We had two rooms next door, both rooms were 'movie' themed and sound proof. They don't have their own car park and navigating both to the next door car park and once parked to the hotel entrance is not particularly clear. Also the buffet breakfast was disappointing both in the offering and in the operation. Maybe we were unlucky on the morning we were there, but finding napkins, cutlery etc was difficult, there was only one choice of bread (seeded) only hot food was scrambled egg and everything seemed to be running out without being replaced. Also, unusually for a hotel of this rating, there was no tea or coffee facilities in the room (the tea at Breakfast was awful!) and no water provided in the room. We did discover as we were leaving that behind the bar there was a water fountain, would have been nice to have known this when we checked in.
