It was an amazing experience in the hotel, the staff was amicable and location was very excellent. Overall I love the hotel interior and design, a classic chic look with a royal colour touch. The breakfast was mixed of English, Arabic and gluten free options.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this hotel. We were overwhelmed by the hotel and the friendly welcome on our arrival. We got a beautiful room 311. It was very clean, the food was outstanding and the staff was very friendly. We felt very welcome from day one and were very sad when the holiday was over. It‘s the best hotel we‘ve been on vacation in and we will definitely come back next year. A very kind greeting to all the staff and especially to mister Belal. Simply the best hotel I have stayed in. Traditional luxury throughout the hotel. It was a very special 5 days with one daughter flying in from Australia, to meet her sister and myself. An added surprise was when my son arrived from the UK on the second day. Room service from our butler was very efficient and canapés and fruit were a nice touch. We loved pre dinner cocktails in the Jazz Bar - great Whisky Sour! Food in buffet excellent but definitely worth going to the Italian but book in advance otherwise no chance of getting in. Only one small complaint - reception service when checking in was painfully slow and not a good start when you have arrived on a night flight,

SKPLondon Families - TripAdvisor review

Our first time at the Raffles the Palm and it won’t be our last. We travelled with grandparents and the kids (age 8 and 10). From the moment we arrived, Shakir took care of us as we arrived early (8am) and our rooms were not ready. The staff appreciated that we had travelled over night and by 9.40am, one room was ready 😊. We were able to use the changing rooms to freshen up and use the hotel facilities (indoor pool, outdoor pool and had lunch). They catered for the kids beautifully - they provide toiletries, children’s robes and slippers. There is also a fantastic cinema which the kids really enjoyed - with popcorn included! The kids club staff are great and held dance competitions by the pool daily. There are also activities in the gardens such as mini golf, badminton, football and even a small quad bike for the kids to use. All staff were great with the kids with a special mention to Ola who spoke to them every time he saw us. Ola provided a spectacular service from the moment we arrived - always engaging with the kids and making us all feel so welcome and comfortable. He went above and beyond when my husband hurt his foot (his own fault with uncomfortable flip flops). He insisted on getting a plaster for immediate relief and got us new flip flops straight away. Thank you Ola! By the pool, small cold lavender infused towels were provided to cool us down. Staff would come around offering to clean our sunglasses 😎 Food and drinks were promptly served and cleared when we were done. We didn’t have any issues in getting our sun beds or Cabanas as there are plenty around the pool. The outdoor pool is huge and has a swim up bar and jacuzzis. Beach was lovely and the views are always great. Indoor pool was exquisite, plenty of cabanas/beds and towels. There is also a sauna which we all used and ice cold water is always available at both pools. The overall service was always friendly and we were always met with a smile. No detail was over looked and no request was ever too much. The Gym was clean and had enough machines and space to workout. The grounds and the hotel are super clean with staff constantly cleaning the water on the walkways around the pool, cleaning the floors inside the hotel and attending to the greenery.l to keep it neat. The toilets by the pool are also attended to, and cleaned after each use immediately. Santo was in charge of servicing our room and the team were wonderful every day cleaning it, folding our clothes, changing bedding and towels and were prompt in responding when we needed extra towels, hangers, ice bucket etc. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant Matagi where the ambience, food and service were amazing. Kila looked after us and was absolutely spectacular. She brought us over a stool for our handbags and even a shawl for my daughter when she looked a little chilly. Her service was beyond attentive. At the breakfast buffet , there was something for everyone. Yogurts; meats, fruit, pastries, cereals, variety of juices, sausages, eggs, hash browns - you name it, they had it. You can also order items from the menu with your waiter such as eggs Benedict, omelettes and so much more. Our teas, coffees, milkshakes were made to order with the choice of a variety of milks if needed. At dinner, there is again, something for everyone at the buffet. My daughter has a nut allergy and so couldn’t have many of the desserts. The chef made a special effort to prepare a suitable cake just for her. We visited whilst they were celebrating Eid so were lucky to experience the special menus, music and enjoy the vibe. Having visited Dubai every year for the past 18 years, we have stayed in many hotels catering for couples and families. At Raffles the Palm, we lived like kings and queens for a week and cannot wait to go back.

Our stay at Raffles was mixed, with some amazing experiences and service and some less so. There is only one area for entertainment in the evenings - The Jazz Club, which was good but repetitive. The club upgrade is absolutely worth doing and I would like to make special mention of Shehan Giunasekara who took such fabulous care of us and made a huge difference to our experience and stay. A truly valuable member of staff.
