Local shop in the hotel has everything and really cheap. Great spa and kids club, many activities, good restaurants. Perfect gym. Great variety of food on breakfast,fresh juices.

Great Stay But Need A Good Maintenance

I was checked-in for the corner seaview on the first day and inform the front desk that I need the air-conditioning to go lower temperature as it stays at 26 degree even after trying to change it multiple times. The front desk enquire how low did I want it to be and I told him at 18 degree but he informed me that minimum it can only go till 20-21 degree only. He mentioned to send someone from maintenance to come over to check but did not turned up at all. The next day I have spoke through the application chat multiple times to get them to do something about it till I suggested to them either they quickly get it fixed or I'll need to speak to the General Manager and get me a new similar room if still couldn't get fixed as I do not want to stay in a very warm room for another few nights. Then only immediately they took action in both ways, sending the maintenance people and change me to another similar room but not as great scenery and big balcony corner unit as it was on the first day of my stay. However, I found out that the new room offered to me, the air-condition can even go as low as 15 to 16 degree during night time which contradicted with the front desk earlier statement from the guy. I was celebrating my birthday vacation and yet this was disappointing for such a luxury hotel stay to have this unfortunate experience. Others was great in terms of their smiley face greeting and welcoming guest, assisting for the buggy/free shuttle bus ride arrangements the free flow of chocolate on daily basis, cleanliness, facilities and safety. The tour guide that provides tour packages was very helpful to suggest ways to go about for the trip to visit the island and also promoting some good places for eateries which is super useful information shared.

Family trip to Phu Quoc

My family of 9 checked into 4 rooms, 1 deluxe family room with sea view and 3 superior king room with sea view. My kids really enjoyed the daily chocolate hour from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. They had different cakes, cookies plus cotton candy. The free breakfast buffet was good and they had a wide variety of American and Vietnamese dishes. My family especially enjoyed the infinity pool which the water was heated. They also have daily happy hour from 5pm to 7pm at the pool bar which we made use of. Hana from the pool service provided excellent service. She made sure my family was taken care of and informed us on our first day of the happy hour special. I liked their pina colada. Drink was tasty and it wasn’t too strong. The hotel is about 15 minutes to VinWonders and the Safari and 40 minutes to the cable car. We reserved the 16 seat car service from the airport to hotel and from airport to the port to take the ferry back to my parents home town. The driver that picked us up from the airport was professional and on time. As we entered the car, he gave us all wet towels and cookies. Make sure to reserve the transportation in advance. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Mövenpick and would definitely come back here if we were to visit Phu Quoc again. The only complaint was that the pool closed at 7pm. I wished it closed a little later.

Worst location among garbage burning points.

Could not breathe nightly. Poisonous smoke is harmful to health. Left the hotel 5 nights earlier without any refund, thanks to Movenpick and booking.com - wish you both to have fun with my money.
