The hotel is well located (close to church, mall, station and resto) but for its price per night, it is lacking basic and important amenities like complimentary water, toiletries, electric kettle, cups/glasses, complimentary coffee/tea. It would also be great to have variations in the daily breakfast menu.

Disappointing Experience at Ibis Faria Lima

I recently stayed at the Ibis Faria Lima hotel for five days, and unfortunately, my experience mirrored the issues I encountered during a previous stay. While the hotel has its merits, such as a convenient location, I cannot overlook the recurring problems that significantly impacted my stay. One of the persistent issues was the TV signal, which had the same problems as my previous visit. Channels were often pixelated or lacked audio, making it challenging to enjoy any downtime in the room. Despite reporting the problem on the first night, maintenance failed to show up, leaving me frustrated and without a resolution. Adding to the frustration were new problems that emerged this time. On the 13th floor, my room suffered from a cold and low-pressure shower. The TV, when left on for an extended period, started flickering. It took two days of persistent complaints before the hotel offered to change my room. During my initial complaint on the first night, the maintenance team failed to respond despite assurances from the reception. The following morning, I made another complaint before leaving the hotel, and upon returning in the late afternoon, I discovered the same issues persisting. It was only in the morning of the third day, after the fourth complaint, that I was moved to a room on the first floor. This resolved the shower and part of the TV issues, but introduced new challenges. The room, designed for accessibility, presented difficulties with furniture placement, especially with a small table that made organizing and working a hassle. The TV's positioning caused discomfort, and the signal remained subpar, even worse than on the 13th floor, with channels lacking audio. Furthermore, the room had a connecting door that did little to insulate sound, making it impossible to escape the conversations and noises from the neighboring room. The bathroom featured a small sink, making it impractical to place basic items like a toiletry bag with medications, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and soap. Notably, there was no bidet shower in the bathroom. Despite these issues, I refrained from further complaints as I had grown tired of ineffective resolutions. However, it is crucial to document that this stay fell far below the minimum expectations for the level of service associated with the Ibis brand. The accumulation of recurring and new problems significantly diminished the overall quality of my stay, leaving me dissatisfied with the experience.
