A big disappointment

Overall the service received was terrible. Oj arrival there was no acknowledgement of our platinum status and no welcome amenity provided during the stay. No offer of upgrade (per platinum status benefits) until my husband complained. No help with unloading and bringing the luggage to the room. On day one we asked the hotel to recommend and book a restaurant for dinner only to turn up and find the restaurant closed. We tried to call the hotel but there was no answer, so we ended up finding somewhere else to eat. When we returned to the hotel we find out that the concierge had booked a different restaurant and not told us, and staff were not very apologetic. We asked for toiletries and towels to be replenished on the second day, to no avail. Finally, there were very limited breakfast options for a five star hotel, certainly compared to other hotels we have stayed in. No freshly cooked on demand items at all. We used points for the booking and this was a total waste of them. We will not be returning.

First of all, we deeply regret that you felt your valued Platinum statue was not recognized. Rest assured that all our staff are well trained in Accor and Mgallery standards, which we strive to meet. You have booked a deluxe room with terrace; we only have one category with outside access. Generally, we do not offer upgrades for customers who book this type of room with outdoor access before their arrival, as it is typically chosen for this specific feature. However, we remain attentive to our clientele and always strive to find a solution to fulfill our members' requests and preferences. That's why you've been offered a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite, so you can start your stay in the best possible conditions. You also benefited from early check-in, available with your Platinum statue, two hours before the usual check-in time, so you can rest as soon as you arrive. Our concierge team strives to provide you with fine restaurant recommendations and reservations, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding your restaurant experience. We tried to call you, but the phone number we had was not the correct one and we sincerely apologize for that. We're sorry you weren't satisfied with our breakfast buffet. We offer a selection of fresh, local and varied products to satisfy a diverse clientele French and international. Very good service and amenities. Except for bathroom door getting stuck, everything else was excellent in terms of service and comfort. We were very happy with our stay.
