Ibis offers great value for money compared to other accommodation in the area with concenient amenities like ample storage, a kettle and prime location near public transport and attractions. However, cleanliness under less visible areas could be improved. Friendly and helpful staff available 24/7.

First time at this particular Edinburgh Ibis. Location ideal and handy for little supermarket next door. Very basic and minimalistic but fine for a short stay. Could have done with a hand towel rather than just bath towel. Clean and reasonably quiet.

The hotel is very expensive for its category. The room is small, the sheets are smaller than the mattress, which is not very comfortable. The bathroom is like a boat cabin and there are no face towels, only one large towel per person. The rooms facing the entrance are noisy because there is a nightclub in the basement of the building. Breakfast Buffet is good.

The hotel was all that I needed, it was located very close to the city centre, so all shops and places of interest were within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean.

Great stay, comfy bed with a decent shower in a good central location, with a great view - 9th floor overlooking the sea and Arthur's seat, I couldn't stop looking out the window. Friendly staff, tesco and sainsburys close by for provisions, no complaints. I'd stay here again.
