Stayed 3 nights had to move rooms after the first night as the room was very noisy from the very busy road behind. The 2nd room was less noisy but still loud. In the morning there was music playing on the deck which was loud in our room, and a very loud wedding hosted there is the afternoon. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. The hotel is abit in no mans land with no shops near buy but great for walks on the river. Breakfast was good except the chef didn’t listen to requests for sauce in the side ect and we had dinner one night and 2 people had the duck but each dish was very different with one having potatos and one having none but radish on top. So works needs to be done in the kitchen to ensure requests are met.

Staff members and whole team were really accommodating and lovely! They managed to get us early check in because we had an important event to get ready for at 2pm! Such a lovely and private hotel. Really enjoyed the seclusion and peaceful vibe it gives.

Dear Marvin, Thank you for the great review of our hotel! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again very soon. Sincerely,

This hotel is a bit weird. While it is well located for views of the river, it's not really convenient for accessing the city. Parking is ridiculous, only 8 spaces available for the whole hotel, and the 'drop off' zone which is a tight turnaround had cars parked in it the whole time we were there which meant having to make three point turns to get around them. The room itself was comfortable, but not well lit, particulary the bathroom. And it had a strange sliding door between the bathroom and bedroom, that couldn't be used to access the bathroom, so we couldn't work out why it was there. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was serviced daily, but things weren't replaced. For example, we used the milk in the fridge the first morning, and it was never replaced, making the tea and coffee making facility not usable for us. They also never packed away the iron and teapot (not a big deal, but it's usually done as part of servicing), and we had a bottle of wine with cooler and glasses in our room from the bar one night, and they never cleared that away either. One day we were not given a bath mat. The room was clean and tidy, so I know these things seem trivial, but this hotel claims to be 4 star, and I'm just not feeling it. We were there in Spring, the weather was mild, so the fact that the hallways to the rooms are outdoors (undercover, but open to the weather) wasn't a big issue. However, I could see that in Summer it would be unbearably hot in those corridors, and in rainy or windy weather it would also be an issue. I don't really understand this design, it doesn't make a lot of sense given the Perth weather. The bar is advertised to be open until 10pm. One night we returned from dinner at 9:15pm and went to the bar for a drink only to be told they had closed. While I can understand that keeping staff there when there's no guests is expensive, if the hotel says the bar is available until 10pm, it should be. We were in a room facing the river, away from the road, however, the road noise was still quite loud in the room (probably because of the outdoor hallways mentioned above). I can imagine that the rooms facing the road would be incredibly noisy. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but I probably would not return to the Wonil. I should mention that all staff I encountered were kind and helpful, and I have no concerns at all in that regard.

While the room was comfortable after I had to move rooms as the A/C was not in working condition, the service levels at the hotel was extremely poor for an Accor property and being a gold member. Even the water in the room was a self service where you had to take the bottle down to reception to get it filled. Breakfast was a real shambles. Waited for 30 mins and had to leave as I had a meeting to attend. Was told the chef was new and the next day was told there was an electric problem!! not sure which one was right. There was no menu options in the room and there was no option of room service. I think this hotel while being a good location lacks a lot in service and I think Accor needs to re look at this more closely!!!

Dear Gerard, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely,
