Apart from the Rude receptionist that I have encountered on the phone, the check in process was smooth, the guy who checked me in was polite and professional, except from a tall girl who was being a smart ass interrupting us when the guy was trying to explain things to me.

Pros: The hotel is new and very clean. The room is exceptionally cool and comfortable, and it comes with a bathtub and an air purifier, which is a nice touch. The staff provides excellent service — friendly and attentive. Cons: The hotel is located in a small alley. Although there is a shuttle service available every hour, it only runs if there are guests traveling from the hotel. If no one books the ride from inside, the shuttle doesn’t operate, even if guests outside may need a ride back. Suggestions for Improvement: Even if no guests are using the shuttle from the hotel, it would be better if the shuttle still operated on schedule. This way, guests who need transportation back to the hotel from outside can rely on it.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of our new facilities, as well as the attentive service provided by our staff. We appreciate your observation regarding our shuttle service. Our current policy requires guest bookings for the shuttle to operate. However, we understand the importance of reliable transportation for all our guests and will take your suggestion into consideration for future improvements. A challenge here is that, depending on the traffic conditions, it sometimes may require longer (or shorter) to arrive at the drop-off point at Phrom Pong station. If the trip takes the regular 5-10 minutes it's not a problem, but during rush hour it can be up to 20 minutes or more, which could easily confuse any guest waiting at Phrom Pong station for our services. Furthermore, the EmQuartier drop-off area does not allow cars to park for longer than a few minutes. Hence, to successfully implement a pick-up service, we would need to establish a communication channel between guests and our bell/driver team. I recently stayed at this boutique hotel during my trip to Bangkok, and I couldn't be more delighted with the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality, thoughtful design, and peaceful ambiance that provided a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a modern Thai aesthetic, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the attention to detail – from the locally sourced toiletries to the cozy lighting and plush bedding. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a space that feels both luxurious and personal. The staff were consistently attentive and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was offering local recommendations or organizing transportation, they went above and beyond to make sure I had a stress-free stay. The on-site café served up delicious breakfasts and great coffee to start the day right. The rooftop pool and lounge area were the perfect spots to relax after a day of sightseeing. My only minor critique is that the complimentary shuttle service, while convenient, didn’t always leave exactly on schedule. A little more punctuality would be appreciated, especially for those with tight itineraries. That being said, it was still a helpful amenity and much appreciated. Overall, this boutique hotel is a standout for its charm, quality, and personalized service. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok looking for a unique and memorable place to stay.

Tribe Bangkok is a fantastic new hotel in a very convenient location. I especially love the apartment-style setup — the room comes with a good quality kitchenette and a washing machine, which is perfect for longer stays. The design is modern, and the overall vibe is comfortable and thoughtfully put together. However, the biggest drawback is the lift situation. For a building with over 20 floors, having only one working lift is simply not acceptable. It took me nearly 20 minutes just to collect my Grab delivery and return to my room. This became especially frustrating when I was rushing to work after breakfast — it felt completely helpless waiting around. Overall, I would recommend Tribe Bangkok for its comfort and location, but only if the lift issue gets addressed. It’s a real shame to see such a great concept hindered by something so basic yet critical.

We appreciate to hear that you like our modern design, convenient location, and the amenities offered in our apartment-style rooms, which are indeed tailored for longer stays. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the lift service during your visit. We understand that waiting for the lift, especially during busy times, can be frustrating. Unfortunately, following the earthquake in Bangkok and the recent heavy rains, we found some of the lifts to require maintenance beyond the capacity of our in-house engineers. Since we need to order several spare parts to perform the repairs from abroad, it takes longer than anticipated to get it all fixed up. The current timeline expectation is that we can restore one additional elevator by Wednesday the 7th of May, and the 3rd guest elevator and our internal service elevator within the coming 2 weeks. Since many buildings in Bangkok experience similar challenges, the waiting time is slightly out of ordinary. I truly understand the frustration this causes, as I myself am living on the 24th floor and have several times by now walked all 24 floors through our emergency staircases to keep the elevator as much available for our guests as possible. We appreciate your comments and feedback, and hope to welcome you back in the future, where you may enjoy a stay with all elevators back in full service. I selected this hotel as I have been here for once and I like that it is new and well kept. Staffs from housekeeping and the restaurant were very friendly, except the conceige rep who doesn't seem friendly at all. No help when he saw me with luggage during my departure.
