We went with a big gang of mates for an exclusive dining night in a private room and from start to finish the experience was top drawer. The hotel is perfectly located on the seafront with a brilliant view of the bay, parking was plentiful and the staff very much on the button. Sipping arrival drinks from the substantial terrace set the tone for a tip top night where the food was right up there! Our room was a privilege suite and I slept like a log Breakfast was busy but we got a good spot and I enjoyed the vast offering

We we t for the night for a private dining experience. What an absolute pleasure it was. The hotel has an enviable location on Paynton seafront with incredible views of the bay. The menu and food that the chef created for us was exceptional, and as good as some of the Michelin-star restaurants I've been lucky to eat at. Check-in was smooth, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious, and we wanted for nothing. hotel for going above and beyond. The car park is tight and limited, but we arrived early and there was plenty of space. I'd like to thank the hotel for going above and beyond.

The hotel was immaculate, the reception staff were delightful, the only 1 issue was when the key card stopped working (as they sometimes do) you couldn't get in a lift or door, so we had a few trips to reception to activate the keys !

Excellent all round , position in Paignton, friendly helpful staff, cleanliness of hotel and rooms excellent breakfast .

Mostly really good. Lovely room comfortable big bed. Lift was fast (one of our hotel bugbears) as stay away a lot on business although this was pleasure. Would book this deal again as great value. Alex in the restaurant was fantastic. We ate both nights in the restaurant. Our only criticism as such is the chef changes sauces etc without saying. I knew the plaice was seabass as Alex told me but the sauce was different and new pots if they are roasted needs to be stated as totally different, Also the scallops were not in a garlic butter sauce as stated but a sweet chilli sauce (not everyone can eat chilli). Nice that the breakfast chef cooked poached eggs. Breakfast was good.
