We had the misfortune of staying whilst a large event was in place. This resulted in completely inadequate food choices at the one restaurant that remained open but more importantly lack of access to lifts which poses a significant issue for those with mobility constraints. I provided detailed feedback to management one week ago and have not even had acknowledgement of the email that was sent. I have previously enjoyed staying in MGallery hotels – I will think twice before I do site again.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a welcoming ambiance and tasteful decor. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring our check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room we stayed in was spacious annd elegantly furnished. The bed was comfortable, providing a restful sleep each night. However, there were a few small details that detracted from an otherwise excellent stay. Unfortunately, the TV casting function in our room was not operational, which was a bit disappointing as we were looking forward to relaxing with some of our favourite shows. Additionally, while the bathroom was generally clean, there were some issues that needed attention. We noticed there were some hairs in the bathroom upon arrival, and the bottom of the shower screen was noticeably filthy with orange residue trapped within it. These minor oversights suggested a need for more thorough cleaning and maintenance checks.

I thought the room was really nice and clean and the bed was comfy. The main let down was breakfast in the morning. We ordered tea when we sat down but then waited 20 minutes to be asked what we would like to eat. In this time a couple who sat down after us had received their drinks and food and had almost finished it all before we even received our cups of tea. Nothing was explained to us in regards to the continental breakfast. We were just sat down and what seemed like forgotten about. I'd understand if it was really busy. But it wasn't. And for the price of £25 each and what seemed like a mandatory service charge for the poor service. It left us leaving the hotel with a somewhat disappointed outlook on the stay. After what was a lovely evening and massage the night before.
