I called the hotel to confirm the king bed room on the day, but the room we checked into was a 2x double bed room. The receptionist apologised about the error, and we got checked in to the correct room. However we were told by the receptionist to go up to the twin bed room, get our gold member amenity, then go up to our correct room. We went back up to the twin bed room, but the amenity was not even there, and we believe it isn’t guest’s responsibility to go back up to the wrong room to rectify Novotel’s error. I called the reception at the king bed room, then the front desk member brought the amenity to the room.
