Lovely place with extemely friendly staff. Rooms on the upper floors are renovated and really nice. I would rate higher IF the internat worked. Unfortunately it is the worst from all Mercure hotels I have visited so far. To establish a VPN tunnel with my company in Europe is nearly impossible and I needed to go down to the sports center for most of my work - this should not be the case.

I appreciate that somebody in the back office often allocates us one of our favourite rooms. That keeps us coming back. Rooms are good. The new reception is modern and light-filled. Staff are helpful. Wifi ok. Plenty of free parking is a major plus for Sydney. Attached to the club there are several options for dinner and drinks. As gold we got water but no chocolates this time :( Otherwise this is a very comfortable and reliable place to stay.

The room was very clean, comfortable; with the bed, and linen being very good. I was a little surprised by the high room tariff though, considering what it purchased.

Well location for our trip

The checkin staff (Maria?) was not appeared very welcoming & untrained. Took a significant time to process our check in. Did not check our Accord Status & appeared almost dismissive when we inquired for possible upgrade availability. Only when overheard by a senior staff who intervened & instructed Maria? In the process. May be Maria did not have a good day.
