The Dinner, a Hamburger, was not tasty at all. Quantity does not replace Quality. Staff had no idea about their job. The Staff at the breakfast was outstanding, in particular the student at the counter. We definitely have chosen the wrong Mercure hotel. For years we stayed at Mercure Charlestown with no complains.as a Platinum member I do not expect an upgrade, but the windows were dirty and my room was in a pleasant part of the hotel. This Hotel definitely needs a better supervisor assisting the staff. In over 10 years with Accor I never had any complaint.

There was no one at reception to check in, we went later in the afternoon for a drink at the bar and there was one poor girl serving, reception and anything else that needed doing. Room was dirty, hair all over the bathroom floor, bathtub was missing enamel, discoloured and needed to be replaced. Got no sleep, room next door had young children yelling and laughing until about 1 in the morning, walls must be paper thin. We often stay at Mercure Hotels and this would be one of the worst. Staff were lovely.
