Easily located close to Perrache station, we were warmly welcomed and quickly allocated our room which overlooked the church opposite. Unfortunately the rooms in the main building are really very small and although they have a small kitchen facility they are basically hotel rooms but there is no dining space or adequate storage. We wanted and needed an apartment and when I explained this the staff were very happy to show an alternative which fully met our needs. The new allocation was clean but smelled rather strongly of the previous occupants cooking. Opening windows and some air freshener from the supermarket nearby sorted that problem. Beyond this our only problem was the shower over the bath which was very low - even for an average height person. We had fresh towels and room refresh every day which was unexpected. We really enjoyed the accommodation and would stay again.

Room was clean had everything we needed, though staff needed to unlock cupboard for crockery on arrival, but that was no problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I also borrowed a nespresso machine and corkscrew from reception. Had there been a tea towel, sponge and washing up liquid in kitchenette it would have made it perfect. A cobweb in one corner of ceiling too is why I didn’t give it 10/10. But it was very high up above tv. Conveniently located with lots of shops restaurants, tram and train station nearby.

We travelled to Lyon to visit the city and to meet with friends The hotel is conveniently located, close to public transportation means, tram, and metro. We were lucky to have a quiet room in a building which is not facing the main street. The room was clean, and beds were comfortable. The reception staff was very friendly. Nothing to be unhappy about. We did not buy the breakfast, which we found overpriced. In addition, there were many boulangeries around where one could have a coffee and a patisserie.
