Raffles The Palm Dubai Dubai Raffles sadly let us down 946693112 We are now 3 weeks back from Raffles and plenty of time to reflect. Raffles is a beautiful place, full of opulence but ..... if you take away the people, the heart and soul of raffles has now sadly moved on. if you have a moment please look on my IG page 'the movementosteo' I have had to remove the link being informed by Trip Advisor- simple scroll and hear for your selves dated 22 March. Just over 1 year ago, a young lady was the GM of Raffles bringing the 'best of the best' and ruled Raffles with such valor the staff felt it a privelige to work with her. I am lucky to call this lady a friend, Ms Soumana who has moved on to bigger and better things. There has been a mass migration of staff since, clearly if you read recent reviews there are issues with staff and service which can happen to any luxury hotel for sure. This trip, was my return with my wife who came with me 1 year ago and love it so much, the place, please and temperature being perfect. This was my 8th trip, some might say how can they make this one better for you? Well my experinces with Accor started in 2015, when the Fairmont was this superb boutigue hotel. There was even discussions with me setting up a clinic therein, arranged by a well known VP within the group. Sadly covid came, we have all been in recovery since if being honest. To explain about my self, I came regulary to Dubai to look after members of the "Royals / Emiratis " as a neck specialist ( Registered Osteopath ) approx 6x annually and treated some of my own patients. I came to Raffles to help at opening, and very fortunate to have returned many times always being looked after very well. Having assurances with management that all would be the same if i returned, I did so with my good lady. We got off to an awful start, there was fault with the Airbus that couldn't be fixed and lost 1.5 days at the very begining ! The holiday contined on this mode, our room was on the 1st floor personally chosen by the GM I was told. Club access was denied which was such a shame as my wife loved the sunset and Raffles simply could not afford us a glass of wine & a lettuce leaf in the evening. I asked for a meeting to discuss issues and 5 days later I met with a front of house manager! Raffles would always jump on a complaint within a hour i can assure you. This brings me to the conclusion this was personal, extremely embarrising as i had my wife with me and really destroyed our holiday! Mr Hani and his staff took hold of the reigns in Le Jardin and did his best for us. Its not all bad theres 2 new comers to Raffles that I think will make a difference Mr Stephen Simiyu and Valentina who has take on Piatti & the beach. Sadly Raffles I will not return, such a shame when I have built up so many real friends here. I have referred many patients since its opening and many asking me whats going on at Raffles since my instagram post. Raffles has changed, I wish the new MD well and everyone at Raffles

My stay at Raffles Palm was a dream come true from my arrival to my departure. I really highly recommend this hotel, it is a palace and all its employees are very courteous.

Love the room design, decor, spacious area and good flow from bathroom to walk in wardrobe with sumptuous drawers, love the little dressing table with chair and mirror so one can sit down to do make up and blow dry hair etc. Towels can be of higher quality and would be nice to have sauna plus steam room in Spa and not just sauna only. As it is a leisure hotel with lots of kids, a bigger playroom with more facilities for babies up to teenagers would be nice.

Really good food, extremely accurate and attentive service, the staff is very friendly and is always ready to help. The room was really spacious. You can choose between different restaurants where to eat. The Club service is really good one.
