A swimming pool rather than a room

The service at the hotel was brilliant, unfortunately our room was not I appreciate that the hotel was fully booked and therefore we were unable to move but my suitcase, clothes and event tickets all were soaked from a patch of water that saturated the carpet, it seems to have happened before as the skirting boards were rotting away due to the continual smelly damp water logged carpet

We stayed two nights that was enough bed and bathroom ok carpets in room hallway and stairs very smelly felt dirty to touch need replacing

I always went to this hotel when it was travelodge and this was my first bad experience there, bathroom was dirty, did not want shower curtain to touch me so bathroom was wet I went to reception to change my room and she needs customer service training. The room spelt bad I slept for 2 hours max disappointed much.

No issues with hotel but charged twice

All was ok except the fire alarm which went off in the middle of the night but nobody was at receception and couldn't inform me if it was the wrong one or the real one.

First I couldn’t be found on the system, then given an already occupied room. The room we had was nice and clean but air con didn’t work after 5 mins use. The receptionist was polite abd helpful.

Room seemed dirty and did not want to use the shower or even step on the carpet without socks.

Cheapest price available for a 1 night stay in the area. Accor website said all Ibis Budget hotels have free breakfast but there didn't seem to be any facilities in this hotel which was disappointing. Stains on the carpet, one of the pillows didn't smell clean and the toilet was dirty when I entered the room. I was not comfortable in the room.

They tried to overcharge me when it was £43 they tried to change me £91 the stairwell smelled like urine and the room wasn’t the cleanest the door has brown stains and the shower curtain was completely wrinkled and the towels wasn’t washed I won’t be staying here again

Clean, comfortable room with good local amenities on the doorstep. My small dog was welcome. The shower was good, had everything I needed.

Noisy Saniflo drain made loud groaning sound every 10 seconds whilst taking a shower, using the sink. Very annoying very loud radio playing awful 80s music started 8am Sunday morning from car park just across the narrow road outside my room - audible even on closing the double glazed window. This meant that my relaxed Sunday lay in was impossible as it was all too irritating. So I took an early loud an annoying shower and left to find breakfast. Staff friendly but unable to solve the noise issues
