Friendly and efficient staff, clean and affordable room but the WiFi does not work. I am very glad I was not relying on it.

Dissapointed

I appreciate that this was a budget hotel, but the carpet looked dirty with a mark from the door round to the bed (I have a video). Only 2 bath towels, no mat for the floor, so spent my 2 night with a puddle on the bathroom floor, not even plastic cup in the bathroom The lady on reception was polite and friendly I will not be using this hotel again

Lovely staff. Comfortable bed. Shower disappointing. Breakfast ok, but avoid if you’re vegan. I mentioned this ahead of time but there was no non-dairy milk available and it meant that the breakfast options were £6 for toast & fruit or £9 for hash browns & beans! Mushrooms & tomatoes would be a great breakfast addition.

Overpriced

The standard of this hotel is closer to a travelodge. It is comfortable enough. The room lacked furniture. The breakfast was basic. £40 per night would have been more acceptable but sadly this hotel has little competition and perhaps sets prices accordingly.

Not a good stay

We needed accommodation for Burton Albion V Wycombe Wanderers and although this was expensive, it was the nearest.

Clean and pleasant, staff very cheerful and helpful, didn't use restaurant so cant comment on that, bed not very comfy but wet room was great. Need more sockets would need to take adapter next time. Also as accessible room small table to put by bed for cup or book would have been useful, as well as better bedside lights.

Beautiful old building in a convenient location

It was the building, a Victorian grain warehouse that attracted me to book but it was in a perfect location for my visit (on the edge of the town and, for train travellers, right by the station without being disturbed by train noise). Car parking is right outside and cheap, £3 for 24 hours. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Because I had booked well ahead it was very good value indeed. My dog was welcomed at only another £10 and wifi was free. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Convenient for railway

No problem finding the place and parking up one thing the bear in mind parking is only free from 1800 to 0800 hrs. That is with the ticket from reception. Nice clean room and helpful staff all at a great price.
