Central, yet quiet. Good sized room. Can not open windows which is a bit of a shame.

The experience was good in many regards, but a few comments: - I used the laundry service. Two of my items came back incorrectly (mine were gone and I received somebody else's clothes). By the time I found out (as I was packing to leave) it was too late to solve the issue. - The hotel has a great location, but the rooms look a little chipped and tired - I think they need to be renovated. - The tiles on the hotel roof are falling off. - The minibar has an automatic system for recording when drinks are consumed. However, I used the fridge to store medicine and in doing so, I moved the drinks. They showed up on my account as incorrect mini-bar consumption.

Super hotel, incredibly courteous staff from reception, to dining staff and room cleaning. Wonderful breakfast and the conference facilities provided all we needed. Great gym (although it's on the warm side and air con could be turned up)

Well located, good welcoming and reception services. Breakfast and bar service not at all at the level of expectation, only couple people trying to serve all people around. I had my breakfast tea only after I finish my breakfast. Although serving area is empty you wait in the queue just to sign a simple doc to get your breakfast? Only 5-10 minutes after I checked in room service came for cleaning ?

This is by far one of the best hotel I ever stay even though is a bit old. But the location and the excellent service from the staff are more than sufficient to make up for it. I stayed at another very reputable 5 star hotel in Geneva a month ago but it can’t compare with Fairmont grand in service and location. The breakfast was also much better in Fairmont. The hotel is in a great location on the lake close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Nice spa, pool, fitness center. The one thing that makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful with all aspects of our stay!

Overall my stay at the Fairmont in Geneva was very good. Although the hotel is a little bit old and outdated, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the level of standard is very high. The location of the hotel is great and the breakfast buffet is excellent.
