Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the beach... It looks totally different in real life than in the photos advertised on their website. There were lots of stones, making it difficult to swim. In the morning, the water rose and covered the sand, so it's not possible to swim.

Good stay in Vung Tau

Well upon arrival the front desk women misread my visa stamp in my passport and was ready to deny my reservations. I had to show her the actual visa to satisfy her. Then was served a weak green tea as a welcome drink. The room was ok. Had to take apart the drain in the shower to fix the overflowing water issue. Only half the electrical outlets in the room worked. Other than that the room was ok. The pool was nice and clean. Also the breakfast was good. Ate dinner at the restaurant one night and was shocked at the prices. Overall it was a good experience.

I had absolutely an amazing stay! All the staff were very friendly, helpful, polite,… They went above and beyond to everything I needed even when when they were so so busy especially Ms Chi, Le and Phung and Mr Dat at night shift. I appreciate it a lot. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable. The housekeeping did a great job. Thank you! The view from the restaurant is incredible. Would be back and stay here again!

This is my 1st stay with Mecure so I have no idea about the location difference of the Hillside rooms when making my booking in Agoda. With the Hillside room, we are in an independent area and my friend and I have to walk a while and then cross the street under the heavy sun to get to the main areas on the other side of the street with pools, restaurant, picnic area and other facilities. To be clear, the receptionist has informed us about this inconvenience when check-in and asked us whether to change our rooms with a better one located in the main areas, but of course, with an extra fee equals to more than 50% of the cost we have paid AGODA. We have refused that offer and kept the room. I suggest there should be a notice for the guest booking through a 3rd party like Agoda about the difference in location so that we can have a better decision from the origin.
