Lovely clean hotel, staff helpful and friendly, close to local restaurants. Breakfast was lovely - good value for money. The only problem we had was no hot water in the shower - we were only there for one night so not a great drama. Reception were very apologetic when we checked out.

Only had the one night whilst passing through Mackay but very happy to have chosen Mantra. Spacious room with all the necessary amenities and a VERY comfortable bed. Good selection of restaurants close by. Would be very happy to stay again in the future but for a bit longer next time.

Found the bathroom to be quite mouldy on ceiling and shower. Front desk staff were a bit rude. Room size is good but is dated and needs renovating. Location was good for us. Breakfast was good.
