Disappointing Stay

After staying here a month prior and quite enjoying my time at the hotel and thinking how great it was sadly this experience was well off the mark. This room was dirty and not very well maintained. The shower wall handle was coming off the wall and rusty, the ironing board missing the cover, No mini-bar and other areas were dirty and not very well cleaned. I also had an experience in the morning when a member of the cleaning staff barged in without notice. The staff were really friendly on check-in and checkout along with the bar and restaurant staff which slightly made up for the terrible room.

We needed somewhere to stay overnight and break a long drive. The room was very comfortable, view nice, and it was very quiet. Food in restaurant was good however the choice generally at the Marina was disappointing. My fault for not doing enough research however a little further off the highway than expected. We could have achieved the same by booking at a good hotel in the 'city' area.
