The venue and spa always never lets us down with the stays we have had every year. I must say this time around the disappointment of the poor service with the breakfast we had was shocking let alone the wastage of food because of the new menu there is no buffet and we had a set menu that we need to choose from which was a waste , we waited for hours for toast , and breakfast. I was surprised as this is a 5 star and we haven't experienced.

Our stay was very pleasant. The facilities were top notch.We particularly enjoyed the Spa.The staff was very welcoming The only downside was the restricted menu. For example, on burgers the only option was beef ,no chicken.We found the chicken dish on the menu to be inadequate as it offered only meat with no starch at all..Any starch would have to be an add on at extra cost. .Surely an establishment of this standard can do better.We also felt excluded from the Xmas lunch.I would have expected the hotel to reserve seats for it's guests before allocation to day visitors. I feel stay in guests should given right of first refusal. Besides the few negatives, our stay was value for money.
