Perfect accommodation! Every detail thought out to better meet guests' expectations, staff education, wonderful swimming pools, shows at Cabaret do Chico, view from the room, the decades-old tree being preserved and beautiful... Everything was beautiful and perfect, but what caught my attention the most and will certainly never forget is the smell of the lobby, simply unforgettable. Unique experience .

Everything was documented on my record so I don’t feel the need to reiterate the numerous issues we had. Unresolved issues included the missing cigars we reported to housekeeping and also the way our late checkout was handled and how I was essentially bothered by text message when I was already promised a 1pm checkout after speaking with reception. Overall, a very disorganized management program.

The way this hotel is run - starting with management presents major problems. Between disorganization and lack of communication between management and staff, rooms smelling like marijuana, door locks breaking, leaks in the hotel, and overall age showing all over the hotel- this fairmont does NOT hold up to the standards of what I would expect. Especially for the exorbitant amount of money that we spent on this hotel.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your recent trip. Our goal is to provide every guest with a wonderful experience, and we're disappointed to learn that wasn't the case for you. We offer our sincere apologies if the service you received was anything short of exceptional. Also, we're very sorry if our commitment to maintaining pristine accommodations didn't shine through during your visit and for the inconvenience you encountered during your stay. We can assure you that what you have described is not typical of a visit to our property. Nevertheless, your comments have been duly noted and will be discussed with our team.

Old, stinky and leaky

This hotel is old. The rooms stink like sewage. My shower leaked leaving a pool of water in my room daily. The hotel staff don’t listen. I complained multiple times and nothing ever fixed. I submitted my flight details 3x and requested airport transfer. They told me the hotel did not offer this service. I ubered to the hotel and then they gave me a car to return. Just bizarre!

We were all disappointed! Multiple issues required significant management training and interventions: 1. Your employees were not accommodating, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, where we had breakfast almost every day. 2-Shower door was not closing and water was gushing out of the shower! 3-Food at the restaurant had no variety, something every day!
