I booked a suite online, it stated that it benefitted from upgraded toiletries, bathrobes & slippers, a coffee machine and a separate lounge with a sofa and space to eat. When I check in non of the above was in the suite and the lounge had 2 single beds in it. The operations manager was very accommodating in getting the toiletries and a coffee machine but non of the other issues could be addressed but he compensated me to the value of £30.00 off the room rate.

Overnight stay to catch-up with my eldest daughter as she her football team were staying in the hotel and i stayed over on my way from working i Yorkshire for the week before i headed home to Glasgow.

We stayed 2 nights on a Groupon voucher and thought that it was excellent value for money. The Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner one night and breakfast two mornings and the food was excellent and the restaurant service very good.

I've had better stays with you. bathroom not cleaned properly (public hair on floor of bathroom), shower at best described as cold on full adjustment to heat - commented on this to staff and poor response of 'oh yes we are aware'. Not how you want to start the day. Room cold on arrival (Ok once i'd turned radiators up but you should turn them up in preparation in a room when you are expecting a guest). No fried eggs for breakfast. TV remove hardly worked - batteries low? why don't you check this.

Close to motorway and plenty of parking. Quiet room, Comfortable bed, welcoming and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast buffet plenty of choice and enjoyed meals in restaurant. Couldn’t fault and will book again.

Very handy stopover near motorway when I am heading north or south!

Everything was good, and greatly improved over the last year since the big refurbishment. Normally when I’m passing going north or south enroute to France it’s exactly the right distance to stop after about 8 to 10 hours driving, and all I want is a good clean room with safe car parking.

Well decorated hotel, stylish and with good facilities, WiFi, Gym etc. The only issue was the hot water in the morning (it was fine in the evening) but not first thing.

Firstly, the sign posting from car park to the hotel reception was not clear . We had parked around the back of the building where there was no indication as to how to enter. Secondly, within our room there was a strong smell of drainage issues. Thirdly, there was no meet and greet at breakfast. Could not regulate the temperature in the room.

On arrival to room the telephone and the table light not working so contacted reception who promptly moved me to another room but in that room the same light on the desk not working. Maybe these things should be checked before arrivals.

Positive- Food very good though dinner a bit salty, staff very friendly. Greeted with a smile by all members of the team . Restaurant team particularly warm, they kept asking if everything was ok. Negative- We booked a double room but room allocated had two single beds. I moved the beds together but as I did this I found pretzels and crisps on the side of my bed. Looked further and found bedside table very dusty. Room was not warm enough even with radiator on. We found that between 9 and 12 on our 2nd day the radiator was completely off.
