Small room but the space is used very smart. Cozy bed. Staff is friendly. When checking out I payed partially cash and the rest with cc card. We both counted the cash, but later the cash amount on the invoice was 20HKD lower than counted. Should not happen, but I also did not do the math when signing for the credit card.

Friendly staff and smooth transition from the entry to the room. We booked via the ALL app, so that everything is ready when we arrived and the staff there knew what we preferred. Very decent design and lovely tatami room. Especially, we want to thank Paul, who works at the reception. When we realised there was a gift of Bvlgari under the room description and asked Paul for some more information, his patience and professionalism quickly handled everything for us. We felt we were taken good care of by the hotel. We enjoyed the Shakshuka breakfast and enjoyed every minute here.

Stay was very pleasant from start to finish. If I were to nitpick, the fridge in my room (2006) does not seem to be as cold as I would like it to be. In addition, perhaps it would be worthwhile considering adding more variety to the breakfast spread.

The hotel is beautifully designed, with a Japanese aesthetic. We stayed in the Tatami Room, which offers beautiful views of the Peak & the bay, but is very tiny (to be expected in HK). The à la carte breakfast was a nice touch and everyone was extremely friendly in the dining areas and reception. One thing to improve - I’ve stayed in similar price-point hotels in the Wan Chai area before and received better amenities in the room. For instance, we asked for a shave kit and they wanted to charge us for it. In addition, amenities in the room were minimal; shampoo, conditioner, body lotion were all available but it seemed everything else was for charge. It’s a small thing, but at this price point, you want your stay to feel effortless.
