Great located, quite rooms, disappointing breakfast, oddly designed rooms

The location is great, many places to eat around and easy to reach many places in Hong Kong. Rooms are quite (if the a/c is not turned on, because it is quite noisy). Some odd design choices in the room: The touch lightning bar is hard to control, sometimes doesn't work, if it does many lights cannot be controlled individually, which makes it hard to get the preferred lightning mood. Accidentally pressing the wrong button at night (which can easily happen) immediately turns on all light and opens the curtains. Some additional hooks to put clothes, towels etc would also help a lot. There was certainly enough free wall for this. Breakfast was rather disappointing, especially considering the high price. You can only select one dish from a small menu. Also not really big portions. Other than that there is a very limited buffet, three kind of fruits, small selection of danish, etc. But no eggs, bacon, as those are only available with the one time order. For 20-30HKD, depending on how you book, I would have expected a more extensive buffet.

Our central location in Wan Chai is indeed ideal for exploring the many attractions and dining options that Hong Kong has to offer. Location was excellent being close to the MTR station and restaurants, housekeeping team very attentive, and rooms were clean and tidy every day. We visited Hong Kong for our 10 year anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The guest relations team even left a lovely handwritten card for us!
