The hotel and the room seemed focused on design at the expense of hospitality. Lots of branded gear for sale in reception but nowhere to sit or lounge. The room, likewise, had Halloween masks on the lights (cute) but not one glass or cup to drink water from, no tea or coffee making facilities (and no room service as an alternative). Nowhere to sit other than the bed and an uncomfortable chair in a corner by a table too small and badly positioned to use as a desk. I travel very regularly and the hotels I return to are those where staff and facilities are geared to feeling comfortable and welcomed rather than Instagram friendly

The hotel is well-located and the rooms are a good size. They are basic, no kettle, cups, glasses but there is a fridge and safe. Breakfast was over priced. They declined a proper late checkout according to Accor Gold standard so we left early. The staff are focused on money not customer service. We will not return to this hotel or consider other Mama Shelter hotels.

Unfortunately, on the date of your departure, we were unable to extend the stay due to high occupancy. That said, we are always happy to store your luggage safely at reception and provide continued access to the building throughout the day so that you can still enjoy Lisbon comfortably before your departure. We have also noted your comments about room amenities and breakfast pricing. Your observations help us identify where we can improve, and we sincerely appreciate your honesty. We stayed for 3 nights, had a great breakfast - with full variety, only the coffee machines had some issues all the time, maybe because it was so intensely used. Dinner was great and the food fantastic, very nice receptionist recommended a good massage, which we needed from all the walking. This is maybe a high level complaint, but as ALL gold member I wasnt really recognized.

We stayed in this hotel twice as a family of 3. The room is not very spacious, but it’s ok. Shower doesn’t have doors so no privacy while washing :) they have a nice rooftop bar, breakfast is also good. Wouldn’t recommend to have dinner downstairs as the food is pretty mediocre. When we arrived for the second time at 9pm our room was not fully ready, one of the beds was not prepared.

Quant à la chambre et à la douche ouverte… on sait que notre style “fun et décalé” peut surprendre, mais on espère que le reste de l’expérience vous a plu !
