We often stay at the Mercure as we have family in Telford but today was the first time eating in the restaurant and the meals were delicious Yuen was our waitress and very attentive and polite. Would highly recommend if you are staying at the mercure to eat here. The rooms are always clean & the organic products in the bathroom are great adding

Lovely stay at the mercure hotel, Yuen and romain were amazing in the restaurant and food was amazing, portions were just right, more than enough but not too much, food cooked perfectly. Will be back again, room lovely and clean, good facilities on site, bar nice and cosy with a pool table.

Nice hotel but needs to rethink

It was a lovely hotel, the staff were nice but we had paid extra to bring a dog, a third more. The room smelled awful, like a kennels. I feel that of paying more, that the standard of room should be sacrificed and the extra money used on cleaning the room should other occupants dogs make it foul smelling. The bathroom was very tired with peeling sealent and mould in the tiles. We stay at hotels with our dog all over the country and have never had lower standards as we have a dog.
