This was my second stay in a corner king room. The staff at check-in seemed hurried and busy. The woman was wearing headphones and was very distracted. The room was nice however there was dirt/debris in corners of room. The headboard needs to be cleaned as there were spots on it?? Getting morning coffee was strange as the valet or checkin person had to serve it out of a carafe. Sometimes they wore gloves and sometimes they did not. The location is great! They art in the museum is wonderful!

Was with Backroads, on a bike in the cold rain, but got hassled at check in (really, I'm on a bike and with Backroads and you need to see my ID? I don't ride with it, I'm frozen, please give me the room key). There was no coffee in the room. The dining room service for 20 of us had one server. Hopefully post-Covid this is not the level of service from the hotel.

As for the coffee, we had to remove certain items from the rooms in the midst of the pandemic and are working very hard to get them reinstalled in each room. There were a series of issues with the room beginning with the tv not set-up to the cable properly, to the hvac stop working and with servicing the room. The hotel staff was immediate in there response and all the issues were dealt with to the best of their capabilities.

Stayed at the Lexington 21c for a spring break getaway. We love Lexington and the downtown area but we felt we were the only people around. The hotel seemed empty and we were very disappointed that the hotel restaurant was not open for business during our stay. We enjoyed our room and also appreciated the itinerary recommendations that were included in an email.

The staff at 21C Lex were wonderful. I called a few weeks in advance to confirm an early check in. Staff were super helpful. Housekeeping got us some ice buckets and valet were helpful as well. We ate at Lockbox in the vault room and had a group of 10; everything was great.

Ok , rooms didn’t feel clean , loud noises late at night from bar downs stairs was annoying. I try to stay at boutique hotels but wouldn’t stay at this one again

Room service was the worst. 44.00 med steakshould not have been well done/burnt... Room was dusty.. Wasn't worth no where near the 480 for 1 night and roomservice dinner for 2... Would take a healthy discount for me to concider stayong again

Not up to previous experience. Valet parking not very organized upon both arrival & departure ( wrong car brought up upon departure, room a bit tired looking (marks on wall) & check in area at front vestibule cramped & dark ( previous check in thru vestibule & to right was open & airy. In world of social distancing g new check in space did not make sense at all)

Cool room, rest of experience not close to on par with 21c brand

The nicest person at this hotel was the valet at check in. That is not the experience you’d expect for a $500 hotel room. Arrived to an empty lobby with just one computer, didn’t look like a check in. Wandered around until was sternly told “you check in at the desk.” Pushed trolley of luggage back to desk and found that was the check in employee. Silently checked in and went to Harmon Room, which was very cool. Had dinner at Lockbox. Initially was told that the salmon was 86ed even though we were one of just a handful of parties. Server did find a half portion and we made it work. One server was taking care of all of the parties, so it wasn’t particularly attentive. Left to take a walk and same front desk employee didn’t say hello or goodbye, or offer any local walking suggestions, just more silent treatment. In the morning, could not order in-room breakfast but handout said there would be coffee in lobby vestibule. Asked for coffee and was told it was out but I could walk in the rain to a Starbucks. Again, I’d think for $500 a night I could get a coffee without a walk to a mystery Starbucks in the rain. Picked up car from valet and left. I’ve stayed at the Louisville and Cincinnati properties, and got married at the Hermitage in Louisville, one of the other properties owned by the Browns. All of them had more welcoming hospitality, a more robust art selection, a larger and more useful fitness center, and staff who actually seemed to care that you chose to visit their property. This was not the hospitality one expects for what is billed to be a superior art hotel experience. I would not return to this property even if they bring back breakfast or find the ability to brew a second pot of coffee for the lobby.

I love 21C, but this was the worst bed my partner and I have ever slept on. The sheets feel like paper, the bed feels like plywood with cheap foam on top. The room was dusty, and the gallery was underwhelming compared to other 21C locations. Great location, though!

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room. Staff were all masked and taking covid precautions seriously. Bar closed early which is understandable given it was mid-week during a pandemic, but the bartender kindly made us a drink to take back to our room even though it was closing time.
