After having issues with a 3rd party booking, 21C Lexington rectified the problem. The location could not have been better. It was a 15-minute drive to Keeneland and walking distance to Tony's of Lexington.

After a very minor miscommunication at check in, the hotel manager (Gabe) was so friendly and went above and beyond by writing a personal note and offering restaurant vouchers - not necessary, but appreciated.

Everything about the hotel was terrific (rooms, location, drinks at Lockbox restaurant, all staff etc) and everyone at the front desk staff, especially Noah, were extremely helpful. The only thing I did not like was that the bathroom door made a really loud noise when opening/closing so I woke my husband up in the middle of the night.

First, let me say that I understand that we're living in difficult times right now. And maybe the hotel is suffering from a massive labor shortage. But it really feels that way to the guests. The restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, which means there is no breakfast or room service. I made my own coffee in the room every day, and the mugs were not replaced, nor were my traveling companion's paper takeaway cups. The garbage wasn't always emptied and the minibar fridge was never replenished. I was traveling for business, which meant I was working long days, and it's pretty brutal when there's no breakfast, no coffee in the lobby, and the stuff you eat out of the fridge late at night because there's no restaurant in the hotel is never replenished.

Dirty towel from previous guest left in my bathroom. Maid took the rug and bath towels out of my bathroom after my first night therefore I hand to dry off with hand towels.

Staff were friendly and helpful and timely. Room was exceedingly dusty. Top of tv console and bedside tables were dusty. TV wouldn’t connect to cable. Maintenance came right away and fixed it, but once I shut the tv off and then turned it on again, the problem returned. I was able to repeat the steps maintenance took, but the average guest probably would not. And, nor should they have to.

We love 21C and it’s location, we have not had the customer service the last two times that we have come to expect from this hotel. Upon arrival I asked for change for the valet from the front desk. I was told to go to the restaurant. In the restaurant, I was told that the front desk always has change and to ask them. I went to the front desk on our second night and asked for a wine since our mini fridge had not been restocked. I was told it would be sent up. We received a call saying that the wine was locked up and that they did not have access to a key, but that it would be sent up the next day. (Our mini bar was never restocked in our 4 night stay.) We called room service for ice but no one answered. We call the front desk and they took care of it immediately. Valet took a long time. The day before we checked out, room was not touched. We came in late from the races and the trash, bed, and towels were not taken care of. All of these things are easily explained with the shortage of workers, but what we missed was the friendly greetings, the attention to detail, and the feeling that someone cared that we chose this hotel for our 4 night stay in Lexington. Upon checkout, all we got was, “Okay, you’re good to go.”

This was my 5th or 6th stay in a 21C, but my first at the Lexington location. As expected, it was really fun and roaming around the building was awesome! The room was comfortable, bathroom wonderful, all the employees were welcoming. The restaurant/bar was closed, which we would have used, and I did get charged for two items out of the room refrigerator that we did not use. Thanks again! Jonathan

We have stayed at 21c museum hotels several times in the past and have always enjoyed our stay. Once again, the staff was amazing and location on point. Our room however, was tiny. We did not have a closet or any sitting space. I would not choose to stay here again if the room size is consistent throughout the hotel.

The hotel is located in the heart of city with easy walking distance to local pubs, etc. Valet parking made it easy as well ... the parking attendant during our stay was outstanding! Regarding the actual hotel and staff, I only give it an 8 which may be a bit too generous. The gentleman working desk at check-in wasn't overly friendly or helpful. Nobody to help with our luggage either which was disappointing for the price we paid. The room was spacious with adequate storage. Minibar & coffee station a bit small. My biggest complaint would be the cleanliness of the bathroom. Again, I would expect a higher standard for the price we paid per night. We did not eat at hotel restaurant so I can not rate the service or food. Bar was fine.

Great property, poorly ran

made reservation and had early check in request, arrived a little later and room was still not available. Had to change in the public restroom. Staff offered to keep my luggage there since I let the valet have my car. Had to go get my own car, Also when I came back at 1030pm they could not even take my luggage to my room. I had to walk to the side lot to get my car the next morning as well. Requested to be contacted by manager and it never happened,
