Our hotel stay was very nice. Very clean rooms. Very nice rooms. Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Very expensive parking. The art has the potential to be interesting, but the hotel could probably lay off the shoving every single social issue, especially "black lives matter" down our throats.

I am sorry that you found the art to be too connected to ongoing social issues, but it has always been our goal at 21c to challenge the conventional narratives of one sided history, especially when it comes to culture and identity. The current exhibition has been up since 2019 and while the societal climate has changed tremendously since then, our exhibit has not. In Dress Up, Speak Up we showcase artists of color and allow their voices to be heard and art seen in a way that has been suppressed historically. We do change our exhibits frequently and hope that you find the next exhibit to be more in line with your personal views. Old/outdated with a weird smell. The “art” was horrific. The google pictures do not look anything like this hotel!

We enjoyed the location due to the show were seeing the theater was right across the street. We enjoyed the art, however our room fell short. It was extremely dusty. There was tape on the head board. Needed to be vacuumed, for the price of one night it was not worth it. After check out I realized there was about $100 difference that i was charged and what my final bill said. When I called to ask, I was rudely informed that I should have been notified at check in that there was a $100 damage charge that would be refunded 2-3 days after check out. I was definitely not notified of this. My account was over drafted it was a major inconvenience.

It started with the absolutely phenomenal experience I had with the valet drivers. They were responsive, personable, and careful. What a way to welcome my partner and I to the hotel! The front desk worker couldn't have been any nicer or accommodating, and the room was absolutely beautiful!

Lots of potential with this hotel but it really missed the mark. I'm never one to complain or even write a review but I was asked to by the hotel for my thoughts. With that being said, I took my wife out for her 30th birthday and stayed 2 nights in their corner suite and the my total rate was just under $1300 for the weekend (2 nights) - which is what I signed up for. Just wanted to do something bouji for her. Unfortunately, the room had the ugliest carpet I've seen in a hotel but who cares, not a big deal. The bathrooms are nice but seeing the caulk peeling off, cracks in the paint, and little things here and there was kinda lame. Again, not a deal breaker. I brought my console so that we could watch netlfix (Squid Games) in the evenings when we were winding down for bed and they provided me with an internet cable but their connection port was either corroded, broken, or packed full of dust because it wouldn't connect. Used their WIFI instead which was fine. Then every time I'd turn a light on or off while my PS4 was on, it would shut the whole system down- the lights would flicker on and off too while watching our shows. Felt like I was in a 90's motel LOL. Lastly, the bed. It was decent mattress but BRUH- no comforter. They dont have them at this hotel. You literally are sleeping under 2 sheets. I was like "holy sheet- this bedding sucks". At this point- we were like "should have got an air bnb for like 1/8th the rate". Literally not at all what I expected and it all was a big letdown. Staff was really kind and they probably would have bent over backwards for me if I asked them to so 10 stars for them as they were really sweet folks.

Have stayed in21C on many trips4th time in Cinci this time not good. It started with valet parking and assistance with luggage.Room was good but blanket in closet was previously used. Breakfast was a bad joke.Front desk help was best part. Because of booking problems thru your platform on a trip to Nashville Still not refunded we went directly to hotel which made the room more expensive but we got ? answered.. I know we r kind of still in Covid protocols but I have stayed in other properties not as bad. I didn’t expect this in this quality of prop. I frequent these proprietors atother properties Barn8 in particular and hope to mention this experience. Hope next trip is better

I enjoyed our visit. I wasn't hall lot with my room. We were to get a luxury room with kitchen, pull out bed, however room was no longer available. I used Bex point and the rrom description Brex has is different that the room description on the website. I had to move two times.

Slow to valet, a wedding van blocked much of the area making it hard to get in. Then we were told to leave because a trolley was coming (after waiting over 10 minutes). The desk service was great, as was dinner at Metropole. The room was “tired” and lacked ambience.

Good stay. Water pressure in the shower could have been better as well as the temperature. The shower water was lukewarm and didn’t get very hot.

Check-in was great, staff and valet were friendly and thorough. The beds were extremely uncomfortable- the mattress protector they use is very loud and made the bed too firm. Made a weird squeaky, creaky noise with the slightest movement, like we were sleeping on a crib mattress. Every time I (or anyone else in the room) shifted through the night, the noise would wake me- not much sleep at all. Also, all of our pillow cases were old and ratty and had actual holes in them. No updates to the room itself- an older tv with a remote that only worked sometimes, very poor water pressure in the shower and lots of chipped paint/finish in the bathroom as well and dirty looking walls. In my opinion this was absolutely not worth the price paid. Was expecting a superb stay and left quite disappointed. Stayed in a major chain hotel the following night for half the price and left much happier.

The location can't be beat. The inability to socialize anywhere but a couple of seats at the bar is not great. The rooms are too small for guests. Breakfast service would be nice for a hotel that strives to be high-end.
