I would say mediocre. There was no access to breakfast accept stale bagels, nice fruit, but nothing to even buy. There was very little to do in the area and the museum was under whelming. The room did not seem particularly clean. Old tech on TV, outlet near bed did not work, and front desk did not know internet password when I checked in late! The biggest disappointment was the spa. I booked to use the spa and it was not open at all during my 4 night stay. I would not stay here again. Also the fridge in room was locked so you really could not even store food for breakfast. Coffee was good in room, and robes we nice.

Couldn’t believe how terrible this hotel was. Everyone says it’s the best in the city. I had the chance to stay there on business, conveniently days before my parents spent an anniversary trip downtown, which I cancelled for them after the first night of my stay. The room was visibly dirty. There was trash and loose Advil on the floor, brown scuff marks in the bathroom, hair in the bed, coffee stains on the nightstand, finish peeling off the plumbing in the bathroom… there was a light flickering in the bathroom and the tub wouldn’t drain. The bed, my god, the bed. Aside from the hair, there were holes in the fitted sheet (which wasn’t really a fitted sheet? Why are hotels doing that now?) and the mattress felt (and sounded) like a garbage bag full of packing peanuts. Every move in the night sounded like I was sleeping on an inner tube. I’ve slept on air mattresses more comfortable than that godforsaken bed. On top of that, several surfaces had what I am sure was dried human snot on them. The curtains. The side table. The walls in the bathroom. Of course nothing can be done about the noise of the rooms around mine, but those walls are thinner than Courtney Cox in the 90s. The front desk folks were nice enough. No complaints there. Overall, would’ve rather stayed in a holiday inn by the airport. I’ll make sure no one I know every stays at that hell hole ever again.

We were in town overnight to visit friends and spend some time in our old city. The location was perfect for our trip, and access to the restaurant for drinks and dinner was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean.

It was a clean excellent hotel, but it took me calling 4 times in 3 hours about the wifi speeds to finally have somebody come up to my room and tell me there is nothing they could do about the speeds as they do not have access to it. The speed of the wifi was abysmal, only clocking in at 1 mbps, which is not fast enough to load youtube videos above 480p.

The General Manager, with the assistance of my husband in providing the most accurate information, was FINALLY able to fix the problem with the billing but the stress it caused ME was pretty annoying. It was MY idea to get friends together for New Year's Eve...one of them ended up not being able to go due to COVID and it caused WAY MORE, in my opinion, than a normal amount of confusion and stress to change the reservations and make things right finacially. The fact that I had travelled down to the hotel personally prior to our stay...had cancellation and confrimation numbers was REALLY an issue that did not seem to make sense. The fact that at one point (which was the MAIN cause of my stress) I was being told by my friend (that did NOT stay at the hotel due to her illness)... that I needed to PAY HER 2X the amount of my stay as... the hotel HAD INCORRECTLY CHARGED HER CREDIT CARD THAT AMOUNT and told her they could NOT reimburse her directly was, to say the least.unbelieveable to me! Thank God my husband..who is much more cool-headed than I..and the General Manager...who my hiusband said was amazing...finally worked things out. But WHY cause me almost 3 days of stress AFTER OUR STAY?? I was NOT happy.

Corner Suite without working tub or shower

I stayed for a night in a corner Suite in Cincinnati for my anniversary as we were headed back from my grandfather's funeral over the holidays. I was trying to surprise my wife but we were let down by the fact that the tub drain plug did not work and just simply drained out the water, and the shower was but a trickle of water and barely had any pressure. The bathroom amenities were a major reason for booking the suite so I was let down that they were so poor. Another lesser note is how the tv on demand service was a bit dated in choice and technology. We stayed in suite 711 for context.

I checked in and was informed that I had been upgraded to a 2 room suite! Awesome! The suite was great and clean. The evening check in staff (girl) was exceptionally friendly. The morning check out staff not so much but it was OK. I would stay here again!

We had our wedding next door. Unfortunately 21C reservations were mixed up several times up to the day before our wedding including our comp room which we had to get a print off from the Backstage event center just to prove. The Bridal party was cramed into a small room to get 10 women ready with 4 artists; we were told they don't have a bridal suite and it was the largest room (even after several guests checked into much larger ones). It was disappointing. The rooms were very cold as they are a High energy efficient hotel. Although I'm not opposed to it. Freezing while getting ready for your wedding is not ideal. It's a beautiful place, the staff was friendly so overall it's was average to below average just given the important day and challenges.

We stayed at 21C leading up to and the night of our wedding. Everything about the hotel is absolutely amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel valued and special. The room was so spacious and perfect for a bridal party to get ready in. It ended up raining on our wedding day, so we took the majority of our pictures throughout the exhibits in the art museum—and we are SO glad they did. The photos turned out so beautiful, modern, and unique and we love them more than any photos we could’ve taken outdoors! We will definitely recommend 21C to anyone visiting Cincinnati!

The hotel was not as nice as it used to be. My husband went to flip open the toilet lid and the whole seat came off. It wasn’t even attached, so that was gross. The shower stream had about a 3 inch diameter so it was nearly impossible to shower. They also charged us 2x for valet parking even though we stayed less than 24 hours. I did message and they refunded us but had we not double checked our invoice we would have paid an extra $39. For $420/night all in, was definitely expecting nicer.

I originally booked an Airbnb in the area to accommodate me and my dog, but unfortunately due to unsafe conditions needed to cancel. I was able to book 21c very easily and they were very pet friendly. This was my dog's first time in a hotel and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Staff was polite and accommodations were great.

I called the Accor reservation center and was unhappy. The person I spoke with said the room I wanted was available. Then as we were nearing the end of the process he said it was no longer available and I would have to pay the advance rate. Bait and switch. I went on line to Expedia and got the room and rate I wanted.

The location can't be beat. The inability to socialize anywhere but a couple of seats at the bar is not great. The rooms are too small for guests. Breakfast service would be nice for a hotel that strives to be high-end.
