If you enjoy modern design, this hotel might be for you. Keep in mind though, design does not always equal function. While our room was nice and a good size, I wouldn't call it particularly practical. There is little room to store your clothes, only a few hangers. We ended up sacrificing one of the sitting areas to lay out our clothes and store our luggage. The shower can only go full blast, and there is no shelve to put your soap/shower gel/shampoo in the shower. The shower door is difficult to open/close, as is the sliding bathroom door. Some of the lights in the room work with motion sensors. Some of those sensors can not be switched off, so as soon as you get out of bed in the night, the light switches on full brightness. If you are more than one person in the room, this is annoying, as it will wake up everybody. Although the booking said the hotel has a spa, in fact it only offers massage service. There is no actual spa. They also claim to have turndown service, but we never got that. The rooms are only serviced if you ask for it. And even then, sometimes they forget. The hotel claims you get free water and coffee in the room, but out of our 8 nights, we had to ask for this 4 times at the reception as they had not brought any to the room. As Expedia Gold members, we should have received a free upgrade to another room, but we were only offered a $25/night upgrade, the lady at the reception said "I see you already got a great price for the room". I think this is poor show. The big plus for the hotel is the location, as it is close enough to all the sights as well as public transport. Overall, I had expected a little bit more

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. I loved the art. Good value Downside was no ice machine (we could call for it but having direct access is preferred) and the television reception was intermittent

Absolutely beautiful! Staff was amazing, room was spacious and updated.. Only thing I would have changed is to add at least one outlet... had to move the nightstand so I could plug in my laptop.
