Hotel with no air con

I checked in on 28 around 3pm. Was told something wrong with aircon system and should be fixed soon. I put my stuff in room left for shopping and dinner. Came back around 7pm still no aircon. A technician came to look at it gave me a stand up fan but the night is uncomfortable.

You are hands down one of the most customer friendly hotels I know. I say this as someone who’s been traveling extensively for business and private for the last 25 years. The staff at the reception desk is second to none. Of course the location is also fantastic.

The bar team isn't installed yet. We had to wait for more than 20 minutes for our drinks. Next to it we heard the stuff talking about their problems with flatulences. I hope we're the only ones who heard it. In the morning, it was Sunday, someone of the housekeeping tried to open the door. It was not possible to sleep late. We did check out at 12am. Why does someone has to clean our room before leaving? It doesn't make sense. The room, the hotel, the location was good as usual

The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially the reception people his name is Anis, the room was tidy , clean, big, has everything you need, the only problem was for me the double mattress, I prefer to have double bed or queen , other than that it’s supper , public transport is at the front of the hotel

Comfortable stay

Stayed for two nights in a classic room in mid-April 2023. Modern hotel with contemporary interiors. My check-in/out experience was decent. Polite guest agents. My room was clean and comfortable. I liked using the in-room SuitePad to find things to do in Bern and hotel information. It was easy to place an in-room dining order using SuitePad. My stay at Swissôtel Kursaal Berne was comfortable. The Kornhausbrücke is a few steps from the hotel and is a great place to enjoy views of the river Aare, sunrise and sunset. A transit stop is nearby.
