I’m an Accor Gold member and have been staying at Movenpick Accra for the last three years. This was the first time my experience was very poor. The standard of service has slipped drastically. They seem uncoordinated. I booked an airport limousine at 9 am with the club floor executive and later during checkout when I asked for my car no one could find a booking. Then I had to make a new booking and the person at the transport desk took her own sweet time to address the request. At the restaurant I asked for room temperature water multiple times due to a throat infection. Three times the waiter returned with an ice cold bottle. At the time of reservation and again at check in I specified that I wanted a room with a walk in shower and not a bathtub. And yet, the front desk person kept trying to assign me a room with a tub. I can keep going on an on. But for the first time I left really disappointed with the service at this hotel that I’ve supported for over three years.
