Good Location with Brand New Accor hotel in Chiang Mai. Accor Platinum get all of standard benefit. I heart many story about staff from this hotel from group of Accor member facebook group in Thailand. But for me hotels staff are willing to help and do anything correct but not wow or met any impress than ibis styles hotel. I mean they didn't something wrong but just only character of staff only ex. talkative or made them feel relax not robot acting. I think if they try to improved about this. Its may help a lot and can deleted negative story from the group and they may surprise then give a positive review to Novotel Chiangmai.

The reception area is too small if compared to the 4 star rating of the hotel, the entrance in front of the hotel is not comfortable. Customers must enter to check-in pass at the car park.staff was very nice.in room very beautiful

I am a long term accor plus member and a bit disapointed with the experience compare with other similar novotel and accor properties in thailand and asia pacific. Usually with accor plus member we would receive conplimentary drink vouchers for the bar for 2 persons and room upgrade upon availability. Neither of which we received given that the hotel is not full at all. Also if the restaurant is closed in the evening at least other places provide free coffee takeaway from their outlet in the morning but not here.

Stay for 2 nights. Location was alright, nothing special. The room was but was highly allergic to all the dust in the room. I'm assuming that prior to this stay, no one did a deep cleaning because I was Itchy all over. Though I guess it's understandable due to covid but regardless, unacceptable. Very small parking lot and the staff wasn't that helpful. Not as flexible as I would like based on the brand "novotel" The room is decent size, the area around the hotel is quite depressing. Not much going on besides walking a long distance to Nimman area.

As AccorPlus member, I got only late check-out as benefit. Anyway, welcome drink coupon wasn't provided since the restaurant is closed for dinner and service for breakfast only. I heard from other members. They got some welcome drinks serving to their rooms as compensation, but none for me. I stayed there for 2 times, non-consecutive (6-7 Oct. and 8-10 Oct.) and was ignored for this benefit for 2 times. What's the standard? I've to ask staff by myself about welcome drink coupon and female front staff just replied it's cancelled because of Covid. Moreover, I saw the placard for special campaign (เที่ยวเมืองไทย ให้หายคิดถึง) at Reception and supposed to get some coupons for this event. Staff didn't offer it and I had to ask to get it upon check-out. Once again, they ignored it for both 2 times of my stay. Also, they gave me only 1 coupon per stay although it mentioned 1 coupon for every THB 500.- spending. I supposed to get 4 coupons totally (1+3 coupons), but got only 1 coupon per stay. It was not my 1st time staying there, but service was below the expectation comparing to my previous stay. Just only room is satisfied and comfortable.

New building, modern furnished. Extremely good for a couple-stay; bed room and shower room are not separate its part privately. Unlimited to replace bottles of drinking water in room. Sanitised by using glove for buffet line with various choices of food. Close to Maya Mall and Nimmanhaemin Rd.

Disappointing experience; Corona as an excuse to reduce all services to an unacceptable level

Since Corona we made good experiences with 4 other Accor properties in Thailand and also 4 other Hotels. This is the first disappointment. We booked a room with a balcony; we were upgraded to one without. The so called executive room did not have any working table/chair. Main entrance was closed and we needed to walk a detour through parking alley. I requested a map of the areaand restaurant recommendations; we were told to use google map. There was no luggage service (first hotel for years in Thailand, that this was not offered). Lift Card was not working on several occasions. Breakfast was poor with few choices. Location is pretty remote with 700 meters to next restaurants/shopping center; no shuttle offered and we had to walk through flooded Sois (side street) to get from/to hotel

The location is nice not far from Nimman. Room is spacious and clean. Bathroom layout needs improve, no privacy at all!! No clothes hanger in shower room. Shower room's door open to the hall way. Person who use the bath room need to pickup towel outside shower room. Person who lay on bed can see person walk from shower room as the mirror opposite the bed will reflect directly to shower room. No privacy at all!!!

Room not well organise, pillow is bad and low quality. The hotel do not upgrade room to us as we have gold status but put our room in front of the elevator.

All is good, except for the payment process. I used my credit card when I booking on the website. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff ask me which credit card that I need to use. I confirm the same credit card that I used when I booking. When I check out the staff ask me again about the credit card that I need to used to pay for the room. I said that I let the staff know already when I check-in, why you ask me again? I think the payment of the system had a problem. You should be approved ASAP.

The hotel just built last and open on June 2019, the nice staff but I did’t get BF when my friend got in the same price. I booked the room after him a day. It’s my mistake to check the detail before confirmation.

There was nothing wrong to our stay. Only one recommendation which is the cleanliness of the public area, there were dust and dried leafs in front of the elevator on both the day of arrival and departure. Fully understand of a tough situation but cleanliness is still need to prioritize in order to create the trust.
