The room design met my needs overall. The actual state of the room was acceptable, but did not impress; the main issues were 1) a non-functioning air-conditioning unit, 2) a tired bed where the mattress was worn so it noticeably sloped into a well towards the edge on one side of the bed, and 3) cleaning seemingly occuring via a quick wipe that leaves wipe marks all over, and leaves mould outgrowth intact (though camouflaged) on the shower grouting. Staff did offer to move me to another room after mentioning issue 1, which I only mentioned so it could be fixed for the next occupant. Issues 2 and 3 are probably not unique to the room, so no point in moving rooms - that seems easier to solve by booking a different hotel. Staff seemed friendly, however when the 'skip the clean'/'do not disturb' door hanger disappeared from my door during the night, I was unable to get front desk staff to understand the issue and provide a new one.

Room was basic, but very clean and room at good temperature. Bed comfortable. Hot cooked breakfast was rubbish (no bacon, scrambled eggs awful, sausage v. cheap and tasted of bread filler) but plenty of cold offerings/pastries etc that actually didn't look bad.

The room was clean, tidy and functional. It provided everything that we needed for an overnight stay. The breakfast next morning was very good and we were happy that we didn't go looking elsewhere for this. So, I would recommend the breakfast in the hotel. Would definitely book in here again because it is very good value for money.

I liked the location as it was close to some family and I also liked how modern the lobby looked. Unfortunately I was allergic to the washing detergent used in the bedding and I I slept a very broken 3 hours on my hotel room floor

Great location, clean room, nice bar area, helpful staff I booked early check in and late check when I originally booked the room on the app, but the hotel system did not seem to show this - I had to explain multiple times, and then the following day i was locked out of my room during my late check out period and then once my key had been reactivated I was interrupted by cleaning staff even though I had put the do not disturb sign on my door. There needs to be a better system for this.

The basic expectation is that your room is clean and sadly this wasn’t the case. You could tell the sheet underneath hadn’t been changed as it had bits (possibly biscuits crumbs) all over it and small specks of what looked like blood or some kind of drink splatter. The floor was filthy as my white socks were dirty. Food, service, location etc were great. But the most important thing is a clean room to sleep in and I ended up having to sleep on top of the main duvet, it was late and I was so tired I didn’t have the energy to complain.

Nice hotel and easy access to town centre etc just a little out of the way in an area I didn't feel safe in when walking back at night after a show. During the day it's fine as many people about and buses etc.
