I consider my experience at the Mercure Hotel Timisoara disappointing. I was accommodated in room 211 between January 27-29, 2021. On the morning of January 30, I called the hotel because I found ,that I forgot my charger plugged into the room where I was accommodated. I talked to the person at the reception who politely asked me to wait to be called back after they checked. After half an hour I was called by the same person and he confirmed to me that the charger was found and I will find it at the reception in an envelope, which will write my name and the number of the room I stayed in. After 4 days I sent someone to the hotel to pick up the charger. The surprise came when I received the charger: it was a broken basic charger that had nothing to do with the charger I forgot in the room. I called the hotel asking to check, maybe a mistake has crept in and I will be able to recover my charger. I was asked to let them check. After about 1 hour I was called by the Hotel's Manager so he introduced himself and told me, that in fact they did not find any charger, that probably the colleague who confirmed me wrong . Then the same manager suggested to me that maybe I didn't forget him at the hotel, maybe I don't remember. It is a disappointing experience, considering that I cannot recover from a Accor hotel , a forgotten object. What would happen if I forgot a piece of jewelry or a laptop? I am still wait apologizing from the company's management, otherwise I will avoid the hotels belonging to your brand.
