Does not look like the pictures. Old and moldy. Very disappointed.

With all due respect, this is not a 4 star hotel. It’s really outdated and shabby. I have pictures that speak for themselves. Whatever pics they post are very misleading. And whatever attempts at modernizing it only end up highlighting how much this place is falling apart. As a professional traveler, I am very surprised a respectable brand like Mercure would put their name to this property.

hotel Location, breakfast etc are very good. However I was put in the second building so not part of the main hotel. The apartment was very dirty and clearly not been kept up with respect to maintenance over the years. Stains on all the walls, bathroom dated etc.

The room seemed to have stayed in the 2000s. A bit noisy, we could hear the street noises a lot and we were on the 3rd floor. Mini bar available but not connected, the door between the rooms would not close, the 110v-220v outlet in the bathroom only functioned in 110v. The staff was really friendly.

It's been a while and I came back to Mercure Nanterre. It's a bit challenging for the host to book a room and not an appartment there. It seems I booked appartment and maybe it's because the new covid measures, but I missed the Club Accor treatment, welcome drink (bottled or similar due the circumstances), possibility to stay in the same hotel and I asked to pay the difference not to have a free upgrade. There were advertising on breakfast but no easy way to find how to order, or even a coffee to go. The room I'm sure was clean, but smelled as it was closed during long-time. cost-value it was good, as used to pay much more to stay there in the past. My overall experience, and again -it's my first experience after covid- it's that the team there was not expecting hosts to come.
