ibis Styles Amsterdam Airport 3 stars

Firstly on my stay getting from the airport to the hotel was farcicle . Waited for a transfer coach which aftrt being advised was the correct coach only went to the ibis budget hotel . After waiting foe a transfer bus which never arrived it was then a 32 euro taxi transfer ride . Hotel has a nice bar with a very normal menu which to be fair the food was good . No other option of eating out as you are really out of the way from anything . Room was basic with a veiw of the KLM maintenamce hanger . No kettle or water in the room , its as basic as it gets . Clean enough but the pillows on the bed are very poor and about 18inch square in size . Staff are freindly and helpful . Personally think would stay away from this airport hotel next time and train straight onto the airport and stay in a more stylish hotel with more facilities and amenities for your money without the hassle of getting to and from the hotel from the airport / trainstation . Really not worth the effort to get here

Great overall. Would absolutely book a stay there again while traveling.

Overall, I had a very good experience while stay at the hotel. One thing, I want to point out, is to have a better signage of where the gym room is, I wanted to use it but couldn't find it.

Friendly staff, rooms as expected for ‘Styles’ type. Well insulated from outside noise. Safe in room was locked (forgot to tell front desk on check out). Dinner was ok - met requirements. Breakfast however was disappointing. Scrambled eggs awful. Shuttle bus was good. Overall met our requirements as accommodation between connecting flights. Would stay again in same circumstances.
