The hotel looked better than advertised. Staff helpful and professional. Food in the restaurant was of very good quality. Hotel was not in a tourist area so limited outside restaurants but beach was excellent. Trips into main/central towns were good but pricy due to distance but would suggest having an early morning slot (10am), to get the most out of the day… a beautiful resort

Family of 5 had a great stay at the Pullman. Yes, it's not in Khao Lak centre, but when researching the hotel we already knew this so was no shock. We were happy to have a quieter time than some of the busier parts of Thailand. We had a family room which was very comfortable and had a separate bedroom for the kids. Very comfortable bed and pillows. One downside in the room was a lack of hanging space for towels. One hook for 5 towels isn't enough. Breakfast buffet was great, and the staff member on the coffee station remembered my order by day 2. Kids club was great and my kids were all happy to go, big thank you to Tong, Mira, Yuyee and Lady. They enjoyed cupcake decorating and the foam party especially.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the Pullman. Stay in Khao Lak Central at Devasom or The Little Shore.

Not a great resort. Not recommended. In our usual style here are the good and bad THE BAD 1. Our son cut his finger on the tiles in the pool ,(which are sharp) and he needed some First Aid. They have no First Aid and no one who knows or is trained to administer it. We had to walk to the kids club to find an old looking kit and bandaged him ourselves with one of the girls that works at the Kids club. 2. The resort is full of a certain type of tourist from a certain part of the world and they have a tendency to ruin resorts. They create a bad cold vibe, antagonise staff and generally ruin most places they visit collectively. Make your own conclusions. 3. The decor is average and the rooms are very average aesthetically. Nothing special anywhere and some areas they're below average. They've placed timber to block out the waves from the beach. Utterly stupid. Who has a beautiful ocean and blocks it with timber so they can place a few cushions on the sand? 4. They have bicycles which you can take to ride around. The bicycles are run down and not maintained. Most of them don't have proper working brakes. 5. The food at Kram Beach Club is below average and very expensive. The service us terrible. You have to go find the waiter or he won't come. The manager of the Beach Club is not doing his/her job. 6. No TV/Movie options. No smart TVs. You have to mirror your phone or use a HDMI cable. 7. The hotel has rules that are not applied nor respected when it comes to daybeds. The guests we mentioned prior have no regard for rules and the management disregard their own rules. By 6am half the day beds have been claimed with no one to be seen despite the resort having a 30 minute use it or lose it policy. This policy is meaningless. We got up early to work out at 5am and found so many day beds already had fake things on them. 8. No pool service for food at the main pool. Very strange. 9. Staff at Breakfast sometimes seem stressed out. As mentioned before the hotel is full of a certain type of tourist with little to no manners and often can be heard telling staff "2 coffees!" Or "2 omelette!". No please no Thank you. 10. Pullman is approximately 25 to 30 mins North of Khao Lak. Pullman resort is far away from everything. We had our own car and it was OK but most guests would find this annoying. 11. For the price you're better off staying in Devasom or Little Shore by Katathani. We visited both of these for dinner and a walk through and they were superior to the Pullman in almost all above points. The only thing the Pullman has that can compete is the main pool. THE GOOD 1. Nice layout in general with a nice main pool and a beautiful smaller pool overlooking the beach (although partially ruined by the stupid timber wall they've erected). 2. One of the main Managers (his name started with M we think) was very friendly attentive and seemed like he genuinely cared for guests. He was trying his best and actually earned the resort an extra star. 3. Beautiful sunsets on the beach. 4. A good kids slide in the kids area was a highlight for the kids. CONCLUSION Stay elsewhere in Khao Lak. Devasom or Little Shore or The Sands. Better value, better location and better resorts overall.

We have booked a family suite and when we first checked inn, our view was an ugly house wall with absolutely no holiday feeling. Once we changed rooms to building 7, I was ok again with the pool view and even some sea view. So be aware! The suites are very spacious, clean and got everything you need for a 1 week familiy vacation. Now why I am actually writing this review is, because I have never ever experienced such a bad, UNtrainned Personnel in a hotel. From the f&b department to the pool staff and reception staff very unfriendly, demotivated and some of them even rude. Food and beverage part at the beach and diner buffet was a DISASTER. you will definitely don’t feel like in a luxury hotel, in 6 days I did not once find a sunchair at the beach. GM is very kind and IS trying… What was excellent was the breakfast this gets a 5* and also housekeeping all perfect . The spa treatments and the spa staff absolutely amazing experience. All in all a basic ok hotel with lots of emprovment.

Thank you Jee Natty for the best massage i have ever had and relaxing my shoulders at Last! Also many thanks to jee tam and jee was for amazingly calming hot stone massage. We took 3 sessions and this was the best décision after 10 hr flight. Will come back for sure.
