Great location but dairy free diet menu was not catered for very well. After some 45 minutes since arrival at the restaurant, a special lamb dish was presented to me with somewhat an agitated waiter and still charged $50 for the embarrassment to me.

the rough cast silo walls were a stunning feature in the room, a very clever recycling of the once grain stores. Literally 5 minutes from most places in Launceston. Breakfast included, but then the thud, "Would you like a juice "OR" a coffee? You have to be kidding? "No, you can have a juice or a coffee." It might be me, I might be a bit odd, my expectations might be totally unreasonable, my senses dulled by having breakfasts the world over with juice and coffee, but at the Silo you get to choose; juice or coffee, best to think ahead on this one.

We stayed two nights with you whilst working on a business matter about fifty minutes north-west of Launceston. Our stay was spoilt only by the fact that you had some event happening whereby a whole lot of Lamborghini car owners were apparently staying with you and many could not help themselves when driving up Lindsay Street by revving and crackling their exhausts. To us it is such a mindless action when someone driving a car of that value feels they have to draw attention to themselves on a public road outside a four-star hotel. We stay in many places around the world where the hotel will make a strong effort to ensure that all guests conduct themselves in a way that do not disturb or irritate other guests. Often there might be notices in the reception foyer which draw guests checking in attention to these matters. The trouble seemed to be with this motoring event that it was of course, all about them!! I do not know whether this event that occurred ever receives feedback from Peppers but it was a lesson for us to make sure we ask when we go to book if there are any events on and what they constitute.
