Room and outlook were great, but the only letdown was the restaurant We paid extra when we booked for breakfast to be included to discover the breakfast package was limited. Most of our 21 day holiday in Tasmania was booked this way, but Pepers Silo was the only one who made us feel cheap explaining we weren’t entitled to a full breakfast! Value for money was not there, as food prices did not match the offer To have our meal restrictions explained several times during one sitting was a poor effort Further, when booking our 3 day stay and adding breakfast you legally must explain the restrictions in your offer, or you have misrepresented that offer

In an industrial area, but quite centrally located. We were disappointed not to have been allocated a room with a view of the river. We were of the understanding we had requested this.

Room overall good but one pillow smelt stale and appeared squashed. Food very tasty but not enough- dinner for EVA meeting. I was left hungry. ( Hence had to resort to bar fridge, which I usually do not.) Linking Qantas online not good enough- after leaving you I worked until 1.30am next day with no break to go online and link it so I missed the points. Your checkout man said he could not help. Rarely would I say I would not use a hotel again but in this case I would certainly look elsewhere in Launceston. I live in Hobart. The gentleman on duty 11pm 19th was very helpful to bring me skim milk to my room.

I thought this hotel was great. Here are a few of my observations: - I know it’s not always possible, so I appreciated the early check in. - My room on the 8th floor had lovely views of the river. - There is proper tea (make in a pot) and coffee - and real milk in mini fridge. - The entire place is spotless. - Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. What a great team. - There is free on-site parking. - I enjoyed meeting Archie, the laid back in house black Labrador. - The food in the restaurant was good. - The hotel is near a semi-industrial area, but if you go the other way through the park, you can walk to the marina and CBD. - Minor quibble - the TV remote didn’t always work. I would recommend and stay here again.

Rooms were great but the my company booked a premier room for two and paid for two breakfasts to be included at the higher rate. On check in we were told we had to book a time for breeakfast Now, the night before which was difficult as I travel to launceston fortnighly for work functions and sometimes they finish at 10.00pm and sometime 3.00am. so its hard to know what time i will be going to breakfast. It would have been nice to just have the choice of wandering down when I were ready. When we arrived to the restaurant for breakfast there was no explination of breakfast process etc but we were handed an A La Carte menu. I asked how this worked as the breakfast was included. Waitress did not know but came back and explained there was a VERY limited amount of item that was incuded, "any dish under $18.00 and a side and a hot drink not what i expected for a premium accomadation venue. We ordered breafast and were then charged extra. Acompanying this, we booked breakfast for 9.00am (arrived at 8.55am) order was taken promptly and then waited 40 minutes for the coffee to arrive, (not many other people in restaurant) and this was only after I walk up to manager and complained. We recieved the orderd eggs benedit and toast at 9.55 am, again after another reminder to the supervisor. We left shortly after 10.00am leaving most on the plate as I had another business committment at 10.30am in Launceston. I was asked at reception how was my stay and I explained i was very dissapointed particulalry with breakefast and the additional charges, the response was oh, hopefully its better on your next stay. All in all, very dissapointing particulaly as our company Citywide Services (part of Melbourne City Council) recomended this premisis to me to "try out" as an option to our current provider which is generally one of the suites at Federal Country Club. Company wont be changing for me or any other staff at this stage. Happy to be contacted if required. Regrds, Martin j.

Dear Martin, Thank you very much for your comments, feedback such as yours is invaluable to us to understand when our service has fallen short of expectations - my sincere apologies for your experience.
