As a loyal ALL (Accor Live Limitless) member who booked this stay through American Express, I am deeply disappointed and insulted by my stay on August 1st. I frequently stay at The Chen for business trips and have recommended this hotel to many friends, but this experience was completely unacceptable. When I checked in around late evening on August 1st, the young male staff member at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and rude. He sat lazily with his legs crossed, barely looked at me, and spoke in an indifferent, condescending tone. Despite my polite and friendly manner throughout the interaction, he completely ignored what I was saying. I booked a week in advance and specifically requested a high floor and a parking space. Upon arrival, I was abruptly told there were no parking spots left and was directed to park in a shady, poorly-maintained open public parking lot nearby. On top of that, my high-floor request was ignored—I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor, which turned out to be an accessible (disability-adapted) room and bathroom, without any prior notice or consent. As a repeat guest, I felt utterly disrespected and mistreated. I have already informed my friends and colleagues about this unacceptable experience and will no longer stay at The Chen. I expect a prompt and reasonable explanation regarding this incident ASAP.
