Unit was lovely. Staying indoor with no access to Movies on demand was awful!!

Our stay was for 5 days and unfortunately we had terrible weather every day, which meant stay indoor and watch some movies. We were disappointed that we were not able to watch Movies on demand via TV. We asked for assistance and a young chap was sent over who was not familiar with the software. Other units had no issue with this. We requested a second time and it was fixed, this was short lived. We asked for assistance again but there was no response and nothing documented as to the outcome. Not happy at all.

Blood on the bedhead, mouldy blinds (attended to by housekeeping but mouldy blinds cannot be fixed - need to be replaced), poor maintenance around the property (dirty aircon units), stained hallway carpets, rubbish in gardens around back pools, stained tables in dining area, letters have fallen off signage and replaced with black marker (lazy - near reception/ground floor lift area) no room service of an evening as advertised, filthy doors at the buffet breakfast restaurant (were not cleaned at all over our four night stay), a very unfriendly afternoon/night manager (Indian I think) who checked us out (couldn't even offer a pleasantry such as 'I hope you enjoyed your stay', thank you, nothing!!!) . Clearly, having a property where apartments are owned by individuals and only 'managed' by the hotel has been its downfall. We paid a LOT of money for what I would call 3 star accommodation. I feel so disappointed in what this property has become after an amazing stay in 2017. I work in travel and will not be recommending anyone that I know stay here. Do better or reduce your prices - this property is NOT 5 star even 4 star. Clearly, a very lazy body corporate/Strata is taking advantage of hard working individuals who are paying to stat here.

The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. My kids loved swimming in the heated pool.

Friendly welcoming staff, wonderful facilities, lovely accommodation all in a relaxed peaceful setting. There were 3 of us so we stayed in a spa apartment with a hotel style suite attached via a common foyer. Both rooms had the pool right at our balcony. The apartment was well designed and beautifully appointed (as was the adjoining room). The apartment galley style kitchen was well appointed however it didn’t get much action as the village of Kingscliff (located a very short walk from the resort) had us spoilt for choice so the majority of our meals were eaten out. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent with a great selection of hot and cold options available run by a happy and welcoming team. Actually all the resort staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
