Nice stay, however booking issues

The overall property was a little run down in areas but generally our experience was fine. What we did find frustrating was from the point of our initial contact until we left our experience depended heavily on which staff member you spoke to. When booking you can't find a direct number, you end up at the call centre who quoted $10 per night dearer than bookings.com, when I mentioned this I was told to book through them. I then asked to be transferred to the resort, the gentleman there offered us a 2 night bed and breakfast deal which was cheaper than through the call centre which was room only. We decided the next day to stay a third night but that had to be separate a separate booking with no breakfast and we had to move rooms which was fine. On the morning we moved we were told the room wastn't ready so we sat around reception from 11 to 12. Knowing which room we were going to we had a look and believe the room wastn't used the night before. Reported back to the same girl at reception she rang someone then said the room was ready. There was another girl on in reception who I spoke to the previous day and I believe it we were daeling with her we could have ben directed straight to the new room on checkout. My advice to others - book directly through the property and check on the eals which are being offered

Really enjoy staying at this location. The 1 bedroom apartments are cleverly designed to be spacious and open while also creating private spaces. They have all the things you need in the kitchenette and the bedding is high quality and very comfortable. Great amenities if you are with Accor.

Arrived checked in to my room , had no water , when the water came through it was brown . There was no mention of any water issues otherwise I would have stayed at Mantra when I checked in . Went to reception, the girl at the desk was helpful , she put us in other room which was no better . So we had no water all stay for washing, showering etc , we even had to go and buy bottled water to drink and clean teeth etc. Have had no call from management. Very disappointing considering the number of times I have stayed at this place . Peppers need to do better
