Peppers on the Point Rotorua 5 stars

We had lodge number 8 & it was lovely. The jacuzzi on the deck which was partially glassed in was amazing & we enjoyed it each night. It was already hot & waiting for us to use. The bed, shower & lounge room were all very comfortable. The view was great & we loved that we could feed the sheep, donkeys & miniature horses. Breakfast was lovely & the staff very friendly & helpful.

The hotel was excellent, from arrival to departure all staff were attentive and provided excellent service. The lodge room was very comfortable and spoiled for room. The view across the lake was breathtaking. We ate at the restaurant the food and service was first rate. Breakfast in the morning was superb.

We were welcomed from arrival, and looked after throughout our stay. The room was exquisite, lots of attention to little details, and beautifully maintained. The location is lovely, and there is a serenity about the place that is very relaxing and special. The breakfast was really good, with lots of choice, and great service. The dinners were lovely with good choices, and the dining area quiet with personalized service.

Wonderful to be back - have never forgotten our stay here in 2017 so a must stop on our return to New Zealand. They so kindly placed us in the same cottage as before. The location is just the best and views unforgettable. The service is impeccable and food and wine are great. Our only disappointment from our previous visit was the lack of a “ house party” vibe which we so enjoyed before. Effectively communal pre dinner drinks and canapés before individual dinner tables and then post dinner drinks after meaning meeting different guests internal and external during the stay. It was a definite USP for us and would be lovely to work your way back to this as it lit up the dining experience for us and made dinner an occasion If you can get a cottage it just the best experience and one we have cherished and will never forget

I think a family-owned hotel: a secluded lovely old-fashioned lodge at the end of a road with various surrounding accommodations within the beautiful grounds for extra privacy. It's right on the lake's edge, so a great view over to the island but also open to all the weather going - we had one day entirely indoors due to the exceptional wind and battering rain; and the nooks and crannies to play board-games and billiards and read were much appreciated then. The staff are all a delight especially the lovely Nikki who looked after us so well. Great breakfasts. Lovely suite, huge bathroom, sink and fridge area in the sitting room which was much appreciated, balcony. Daily serviced. Location: although in Rotorua, it would take about 25 mins to walk to the town centre; 10 min drive. We had a super few days, thank you.
