Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel

Comfortable room, old hotel nicely renovated. Only complaint we were charged for bottled water thought it was free. Breakfast was from a menu that was limited. Good parking close to your room. Didn’t use spa.

This resort is located in the best part of Hepburn Springs so you can walk everywhere. A grand old property, beautifully maintained with modern rooms. Immaculately clean and great fantastic service from all staff. Would recommend, would stay again.

We had a three-night stay to explore the area. Not enough time! The room, we were upgraded, clean and tidy. Room servicing was good. A nice little gift left for us very appreciative. Will come back again.

Had a brief midweek overnight stay @ Peppers Heburn springs. Have visted the Spa pre covid and had good memories of that time so no hesitation to book Peppers Classic Room which was available for one night unlike many other nearby options. Room was great and well appointed. Dissapoined that the food however left alot to be desired for two vegan travellers. Given we were in the Spa capitol of Victoria and close by to Daylesford we were expecting to have plenty of choices/options for meals. Sadly Peppers had nothing at all to offer for dinner and were told to look elsewhere. Were told that they could accomodate breakfast but on arrival in the morning we were handed the menu and plate with non-vegan croissants. Had to remind them that we'd phoned ahead and were told that we'd have options on the day. Choices off the menu were very limited outside of bowl of granola and tapioca/chia pudding. Asked for some toast with fruit/avocado but even this turned up very basic and like a rushed affair. Food offerings did not match the surrounds which were lovely art deco. Staff were polite but did not have any idea about plant based options. Left dissappointed.

Wir hatten ein Sonderangebot durch Gourmet Traveller bekommen. Das Zimmer war eng, schäbig und dunkel und hatte eine Tür zu einer Art Balkon, ein kaltes winziges Bad, das aussah, als hätte ich selbst die Kacheln gelegt. Und warum mussten die Gläser in Papiertüten eingewickelt sein, wo wir doch heutzutage versuchen, so wenig Verpackungsmaterial wie möglich zu verschwenden? In so einem kalten Ort braucht das Badezimmer eine Heizung. Das Bett war ungemütlich. Der Service beim Frühstück im Speisesaal war entsetzlich. Das Mädchen, das die Tische deckte, vergas das halbe Besteck und räumte den Tisch nicht ab. Der Teppich war voller Krümel, wer weiß wie lange schon. Das Essen war OK, aber nichts besonderes. Was unsere Wellness-Erfahrung betrifft... viel zu teuer, und ich habe die gesamte Zeit über gefroren und mein Rücken hat weh getan. Das Mädchen, das mich behandelte hatte einen fürchterlichen Mundgeruch und atmete durch ihren Mund genau auf mich, es war ekelhaft. Ich würde NIE WIEDER hierher kommen. Ich kann nicht verstehen, dass manche Unterkünfte einem so viel Geld aus der Tasche ziehen, obwohl das Produkt, das sie anbieten, überhaupt nicht zufriedenstellend ist.
