From the moment I was greeted by the friendly staff at reception, to the cleaning staff who cleaned my room, this place is amazing. The resort that has been consistently maintained, and doesn't show any signs of aging. Poolside service was very convenient, with a good menu selections. A very relaxing a pleasant stay.

Loved the room, pool and resturatant However the best thing about Peppers is its location. We loved walking to the Surf Club, Yatch Club and to Macrossan St.

I booked peppers port Douglas with confidence after my previous perfect experience staying at peppers Noosa location, to be disappointed hugely. We Had a 4 night stay in a spa suite. We were not shown to our room and had to carry our own bags. Once we arrived at our room, the smell of dampness and mould overwhelmed us. There was no mould visible so I am assuming it was in the aircon unit itself. Our linen had holes and small stains all over it. Our towels also had major stains all of them, every single one including the face washer. We asked for new towels, and were given smaller towels that STILL had stains on them so we gave up and just used them. There were no bottles of water in the entire resort, no Coke Zero, no umbrellas to use as it is wet season. They also ran out of beach towels on our second day there and were handing our bath towels instead. Food at the Koko ‘restaurant’ was mediocre at best. I ordered a kids fish and chips one lunch, to be served frozen fish which cost $15… overall peppers port Douglas needs some serious work. Only positives of this resort are its location to the shops and restaurants + beach. The pool was quite nice but it wasn’t super clean. I think management needs a serious overhaul. If you’re going to claim to be a 5 star hotel and charge premium $$$, start acting like it and improve your service and amenities. Avoid this place, there are much better places to spend your money and we won’t be returning.

From the get go, Niamh at reception was excellent as were all the other staff. It was me and my wife’s 3rd time staying at Peppers and the quality and friendliness has remained over time. We highly recommend Peppers beach club Port Douglas.
