We recently had the misfortune of staying here due to flight delays and missed connections courtesy of Jetstar. We checked in around 2am and the staff at the front counter were friendly and honestly the only positive about this stay. We arrived at our floor to be greeted with a pungent odour and we followed the dust trail to what can only be described as dilapidated room. The decor was tired, stained and 2 uninviting saggy single beds with mattresses awaited us. The aircon remained warm despite the false hope of a dial on the wall suggesting it was possible to cool the room. The buffet was average at best. I’m just glad I didn’t have to pay for this experience!

It was a pleasure to be able to enjoy the newly refurbished room when I stayed just after Xmas The staff were wonderful to me when I could not get that TV sound down the lady from reception popped up with a massive big smile fixed it for me. The meal I had in the room the steak was cooked exactly how I liked and still HOT , it really was delicious

New Years Eve, onward flight rescheduled, no taxis available in TAS, Mantra took it into their stride. Many thanks are due for turning a Day-Use booking into an overnight stay, for your attentive restaurant staff and the excellent transport arrangements.
